I'm in California and it is hot, hot, hot! Yesterday it was 108 degrees at 5:00 PM. I stay inside on these really hot days. My next mini vacation is next week to San Francisco. I go once a year for an oncology check up and I stay a few days to enjoy the city.

I'm from the Philadelphia really live about 20 miles north of the city in Lansdale, PA.
I hate winter also, that's why I'm taking a December vacation. A vacation starting in November and head back home in April sounds a whole lot better! Now, who will pay for such a nice vacation for me and pay the bills while I am away? LOL

We got a down pour this evening, lasted all of 20 minutes and the sun came out. I have a vacation planned
for December, now I am wishing it is December, nothing like wishing my life away. Did not scare me away
but have no clue what upset everyone. Do NOT need to know! Here to people coming back for good times.
Getting a TON of rain here in my area today! My rain gauge is showing about 2 inches for us so far!! 
But we lucked out and no flooding!!! WOOHOOO!!! So what is the weather like in your area??
Planning a Vacation for next month. Hopefully we can do it. Anyone else planning a Vacation?

Not much new here other then it has cooled off. Big storm last night.
Today and Wednesday is my weekend so I will get all the house work done and relax tomorrow. Do have plans to go into the city tomorrow and be the tourist....city hall, Betsy Ross House, Liberty Bell....Should be an enjoyable day

I'm sorry about the loss of your Mom Judy. I remember how you used to worry about that because you were so far away and she was getting older and sicker. I lost my Mom a few years ago and it is difficult to be without your mother. Don't feel bad about crying.

Sitting here watching the weather and hope we don't get hit hard as usual. So far we have been pretty lucky. Last few days it has been HOT!!!!! 
Friday night Rick and I went to our Town's Third Friday Event and ended up with our picture in the photos that were taken. LOL We wanted to try the Wood Fire Pizza but boy the line for that was so long and it was so hot out we changed our minds and ended up getting subs and going back home to eat in the cold apartment. 
Subs were Good.
Just relaxing today as far as Father's Day goes. No cooking on the grill today due to not sure "when" the rain will start. So having leftovers today. Rick had Thick Pork Chops and I had a Rib eye steak yesterday from the grill, so plenty of leftovers for us today.

I have reading posts many years and decided to start posting.
So happy that you will be getting your chair next week! I work in a retirement community and it is amazing the independence people get from these electric chairs. In fact a few of us refer to them as go carts!
My plans for the weekend is to work Saturday and Sunday, both are very short days. Will also start planning a trip to Myrtle Beach, SC for mid November. Everyone have wonderful weekend.
