Nothing much going on here today. I have a to do list a mile long but here I sit. I stayed up late streaming American Horror Story and now I'm dragging. I have TOPS tonight.

I am looking out the window at a beautiful sky, cumulus clouds with lots of sunshine too. It feels so good to be healthy and content. I never take this feeling for granted.

I just had a love fest with my dogs...I call it a doggy party.

I am so glad the neurostimulator is working so well for you Eileen! I am interested in whether it would work for me too. I hav my oncologist visit in a week or so but after that I can take on another medical project.

Spring has sprung!

I bet your employer is used to losing drivers...and I am laughing about your husband and the bathroom thing. My husband is the same...the world stops on a dime when he needs to poop. TMI I know, but it is true. We have never walked into Home Depot without him running straight to the restroom. Have fun on your overnight trip...it sounds relaxing.

Good morning Linda and everyone....

I am praying you have safe travels and a wonderful time!!

You will be missed!!

As for me.....

I am doing okay. Errand and grocery day. I don't need a lot so I hope we don't take too long. I am still fighting this sinus/cold whatever it is thing!

The sun is shining brightly and that is awesome to see! We had have a high today of 48. Not great but way better then we have been having!! I so want at least 60 degrees soon. I can cope with that much better.

So what are everyone's Easter plans? I plan on staying home and resting. Hopefully I can get to feeling better. I just can't handle company right now. My daughters and grandchildren understand. I don't want to end up with bronchitis.

I hope Judy is feeling better. She hasn't said much about it lately. If she did I missed it. Still concerned about Mary. I am so happy that Eileen is having good results with her treatment.

Prayers for our awesome OFF Family and their families. Special prayers for those in need.

I am going to go outside for a little bit. I want some fresh air. I wish they would put the benches out.

Loads of love and bunches of hugs to all....connie d

Good Morning Linda & Ladies to follow!

I am feeling more relaxed since I gave my notice yesterday. I had given the required 2 weeks, but they asked me to stay an additional two until they hire someone. I agreed since they also offered to take some kids off my van and put on the backup van to shorten my hours and stress. The extra time to get all my yearly medical check ups done and another payck are also an incentive.

So that's that!

We are going to Lancaster, PA...Amish country...for an overnight trip after yard saling Saturday morning. I need a small getaway before I find another job.

I am glad Spring is right around the corner. I am hankering to play in the dirt just like Vickie. I can't afford landscapers and the beautiful assortment trees, shrubs and flowers Vic is putting in, but I do plan to put one of those flat rock borders around our huge tree in the front yard and finish putting in rosebushes against the back fence.

I can't wait.

I was reading the posts and had to laugh at Jeannie's frustration with her husband. I forgot to mention last Thursday while at work Jim decided to use the bathroom while cooking with grease. Well we all.know men when they have to take care of their immediate bathroom needs and how long it takes...so a small fire got started while he was in there! There was no damage except for smoke all over the ceilings and walls...and thank God he caught it in time. But after the initial concern he and the house were okay I had to let loose with 'how could you be do stupid as to leave grease on the stove to go take a sh#t?

Really...men!

Linda, enjoy your cruise!

Vickie, your gardening project looks awesome! Enjoy! Also, I get like that about wanting alone time I seldom get. I NEED it to recharge or I will blow! Hopefully your mom may decide a different living arrangement would be best for both of you. And Caralee just can't take a bad picture!

Trish, seems like your daughter may be struggling with you getting older..especially after this winter. I can't think of another reason for why your need for a cane or handicap placard would come up. Denial...anger...etc.

Connie, I continue to pray for good results for NIC and better health for you. So glad your family found a new dog!

Eileen, that is great news about the neurostimulator. I hope it continues to give you relief.

Cindy P. & Cindi B...hope all is well

Yvonne, you sure keep busy!

Judy, hope you feel a little better today, but PLEASE take it easy!

Gonna sign off and take a nap!

Kathy

Got the full crew working hard this morning.  They are digging the trenches for the blocks, putting in the sackrete and starting to lay the blocks.

Good Morning sistahs

I am packed.  Just doing the last minute thing we do.  shoving things I see into the bag just because there is room.  CRAZY.  Bills paid, paper work sorted, bags packed.  Guess I am ready to go.  If I find a computer without horrendous charges I will post pics from time to time.  See ya mid April.

It sounds like it will be beautiful.  Post finished pictures so I can see it when I get back from my cruise.

Good morning Linda,

The blocks are going to form raised beds around the perimeter of my back yard.  You can see the trenches they are digging for the blocks in this picture:

I'm going to have a hedge of red knock-out roses and interspersed will be small flowering trees (see the semi-circle?).  I'll plant my annual flowers in the small arced spaces under the trees.

I hope they get farther along today than they did yesterday!
