It's another rainy day again. At least the snow was north of us.. I didn't want to get up this morning again. It was after 11 am before I got up. I been depressed the last two days. I know I should exercise but don't feel like doing it today.
Trish glad you enjoyed your sister's visit. Enjoy your grandson.
Jeannie I will keep you and your husband in my thoughts.
Vickie you are always busy. The landscape is looking good. Congrats on your weightloss.
Kathy I'm glad you quit your job right out. It wasn't safe for everyone if you are distracted. Take some time for you before finding another job.

Is WDW or Universal never crowded? I haven't been to Universal and haven't been to Disney since I first moved to FL. As you said, too darn crowded.

It is better you quit your job without giving notice than getting more and more stressed out because of the job.
I have been where you are and wanted to quit because of a horrible atmosphere a couple of times. Once was when I was going through my divorce. My female boss was a witch. I took the morning off to look for an apartment. I called her. With clenched teeth she told me to come in to work because it was the end of the month and we worked in accounting and it was month end closing. I went in, all right. I walked into her office and told her she was the most heartless person I ever met and told her goodbye, I am done. I don't want to have to be around you for another minute. Then I left.
So, good for you. Don't feel bad. Feel good that you are not so stressed out. No job in the world is worth dying or getting sick over.

Sorry that your hubby's surgery cannot be done by laproscopy. Praying for a positive outcome from the surgery and a positive outcome from the biopsy once it is done.
I am glad that you are being proactive about your labs. I am bad. Very bad. Had my sleeve 9/9/2014 and haven't been back to the doctor for labs since the beginning of last year. Hope when all is said and done, your labs are OK.

About the ants. I live in an apartment complex here in Port St Lucie. There are ant hills all around. The red ants. Ugh I hate them. I used to call and call the complex to spray for ants. They would and the ants would be back in 3 days. I would spray and the ants would be back in 3 days.
The only thing that helped was Terro Liquid Ant Bait. There are six in a package and it is a liquid inside. The ants love it and come to eat it and bring it home and die. In the summertime here it is the only thing that keeps the ants away.

Vickie, happy about your weight loss and Caralee's weight gain. Sometimes formula works better. Who knows why? Glad your landscaping is progressing.
I got my lab results back and all is good except my potassium is a little low. Now, I've been on two huge potassium pills since my WLS. (Well, the pills since about two months out; before that, I had to drink this yucky liquid stuff.) And they've always been just fine. This is the first time my potassium has been low. Don't know why.
Thyroid is fine, six months after starting on synthroid. All other levels were good too. So I was pleased. Missing my neurostim, but I know it will go back in permanently in the future.
Talked to mom yesterday; she had been to the ENT doc yesterday and he tried to clean out her ears, but there was so much gunk in there, he couldn't get it all out. So she has to use ear drops and come back on Monday. But she said she could hear a little better, so that's a plus, considering she was nearly deaf in her left ear.
Last night I was in bed watching TV and suddenly saw ants in bed. Also saw them on the floor in my bedroom. Got out the ant spray I used in my old place and sprayed around the room. Also stripped the bed and put on the lighter weight sheets, because of course after I saw the ants I was really itchy. I washed the sheets this morning. I will have to call the office and let them know about the ants. This apartment complex is so good about getting things done. Yesterday, I told them our dishwasher was leaking; by the afternoon, the maintenace guys were over fixing it. Plus, the guy also fixed the front door because he thought it was sticking a bit.

Definitely, it was right to resign immediately. You have to think about yourself. And it wasn't safe to drive, so you were endangering the kids, too, as well as yourself. Take yourself out of the bad situation.
