Hello again!

Okay, I did get some good news this afternoon!  My official weigh-in at the doctor was 198!  Bye-Bye 200s!  Hello Onederland!  I have lost 12 pounds.  This makes me really happy.  I sure hope I can continue to lose.  I really really want to be back in the 160s again.

Just talked very briefly with Carrie and she did go ahead and put down the deposit to hold Caralee's place at the new daycare.  So I have a lot of packing to do this evening.  I am sad and relieved, all at the same time.  I do love this little baby so much.  My days are going to feel strange and empty next week.  I've been with her every single day since she was born.

Lots to do and it's almost 5 o'clock.  I'm hungry, right on schedule.  I'll fix some dinner and then start my packing.  Big trip to Waco tomorrow!

Love you all!

My goodness, Vicki!

I am so glad you kept your senses about you when getting attacked by the dog. Dear God, you could have been maimed! What in the world caused that dog to attack someone out of the blue?? Dogs just don't decide to one day attack a person.

I am happy they are getting rid of the dog, if they were not, the matter would have been put into the hands of the authorities who may have had the dog euthanized. Have you gotten treatment for the bruise?

I would have absolutely fainted if I saw a big dog running toward me and attacking me. Again, thank goodness you kept your wits. Wow, just wow.

As far as being a Mimi, you are a human also, with your own wants and needs. And you can only do so much. As far as Carrie and Caralee go, I would miss my baby desperately too. That is her baby, she is Caralee's mom. I hope all works out for them.

Congratulations on your weight loss. Good for you. I have read how you have done it, and I will try it. I never got down to a size ten, I am a size 14 and only 5 feet 4 inches. Would at least like to get down to a size 12.

Again, thank goodness you are OK. I am shook up FOR you, lol.

Take care, dear.

Rofl.

Boy oh boy. We are a. pig headed. b. when we get angry we, scratch that out.....I hold a grudge. My mom used to hold a grudge for years. I have tried to get over that and have done so for the most part. but...c. The tempers that get going when we think we are wronged. That is the issue. My daughter, fortunately doesn't anger easily and neither do I. Unfortunately, when we become really upset, Nellie bar the door. We don't swear, we don't insult. But we both will insist we are right. Two bullheaded women. Hm. I wonder where she got that bullheadedness from. Hm.

Hi Connie, I see you are doing well. Walking also. Good for you. I have no excuse. I started walking and then my knee hurt and I stopped. The thing is, I feel so much better after I walk.

About the abuse, I think it is a shame. And it is so much worse when there are children around to see physical abuse. Emotional abuse is bad, but physical abuse can kill someone. Then with the children around to see it, it affects their emotional well being immensely.

Sorry I misread. So Jazz's mom's fiance is a Vet.

When I was losing I used to drink those dratted protein shakes. I can't even look at one again. They make me ill. Yes, protein bars are a good way to get our protein in. However, there are extremes. I am still, one year later, addicted to the Power Crunch Chocolate Mint Protein Bars. Lisa tells me all the time to go on TLC's My Strange Addiction. But those people eat soap and horrible things. I only eat those protein bars....but every day.

Kathy I actually do okay until about 5 o'clock.   Then when I'm hungry I'm hungry!   I have my Pro Joe when I first get up and my shake around 1 p.m. I usually have a piece of fruit or plain popcorn in the afternoon as my snack.   I think the appetite suppressant helps with the hunger during the day.   I still struggle in the evening hours though.  From 8-10 is awful. All I want to do is eat.

Hello Kathy..... I have a HUGE problem with craving CHOCOLATE and I always have. That didn't go away because of surgery!

I am really, really trying to keep chocolate out of the house. I settled on tootsie roll suckers. I buy a variety of flavors. They last a long time and the sweetness helps my cravings. So far!

I am praying you get that job if that is what you want. I agree I would rather work with older people then teens. I couldn't handle all their nonsense anymore. Kids are sure not what they used to be. No respect for anyone or anything!!

Sorry the kitchen walls are giving you so much grief. That would be hard to cleans. I think you are right, you will need to repaint.

So your daughter is getting married. I hope Jazz is excited about that change. Congratulations to them!!

My granddaughter, Amanda, is getting married in September decided on having a small wedding too. They are each only going to invite 50 people for a total of 100. That total also includes the bridal party and all family and friends. They are renting a place in the woods with a beautiful view. Just keeping it simple is what they want. They will have a meal afterwards but nothing expensive. They are doing a lot of the decorations, invitations, and things on their own. That is just who they are. I am very proud of them!

I am doing very well. I do love to walk!! I had to walk inside the last couple days because of the cold weather and rain. I am doing my best to keep moving. As for Nic we are so thrilled with that news, most of all Nic!!! Gracie is doing fine. She told me she was pretty scared when she couldn't talk or walk right. I told her that now she was just like me. I walk funny and talk funny too!! She laughed and laughed!! Then she said, "Oh Nana I love you"!! I have been smiling since!!

Have a good evening...I love you...hugs too...connie d

Geez Vickie that dog attack HAD to be terrifying! I would be shook up, too! Good the dog is going...he sounds dangerous!

Your diet sounds good, but you don't get hungry just having 2 shakes and one meal? How long do you expect to eat like this? Do you feel the shot works? Does it make you feel edgy?

I think I would be relieved too regarding the baby. I would have mixed feelings, but mostly relief. We have raised our kids and are moving into our twilight years. I don't think wanting our time to be our own is too much to ask. God knows you've gone above & beyond!

Arlene....'Italian spiciness'....i love it!

My mom used to call us pig**** Irish the way we all argued. She was an only child who came from a proper English background.

Hope you can get the sinus surgery.  I am fortunate I don't suffer much, but when I get a bad sinus headache I have to sleep it off.

Praying, Judy. Cancer...cancer everywhere. How old is Rick's aunt?

In terms of his daughter I hope she gets out & stays out. The kids DO NOT need to experience that.
