I am so green with envy that you can go to yard sales!! That was always one of my favorite spring/summertime things to do. I didn't even have to buy anything. I loved all the getting out and chatting with the people!! I am such a people person!!
Good for you shopping and then putting in three hours gardening! That is really good! WTG!!! No nap..woot woot!
I did so enjoy my walk today. They really do make me feel better about myself. I so much want to be outside walking without my walker. If I could just get my balance to stay steady. Good one day and bad the next. Right now I can't let it go. I can't give up!! I have to get out there every day with the walker. I am always so hard on myself!!

As for me.... I woke up way to early this morning. The one morning I could have slept in I couldn't...darn!!
I did go out for a walk again this morning. I went quite a little bit further and it felt good. I was proud of myself. The day is partly cloudy but the temp is just under 70. I think I will just go outside and sit on one of the benches. I want some more of the fresh air. Can't go out...it is very windy and it is thundering and getting darker and darker.
Today is my Nic's 23rd Birthday, his golden birthday!! 23 is quite a big deal to the children's cancer families. My daughter, Jamie wrote a beautiful post for Nic on Facebook. She confided that she heard the song "The Dance" by Garth Brooks. She said that was one of the songs she has chosen for Nic's funeral if the need comes. Do you have any idea how close he came to dying? So many times we thought this was it! Twenty years of this...my daughter has remained strong in her fight for Nic. We all have, including our OFF Family!!! Thank you all....this includes all the past OFF Family too!! I love you all!!!!!

Hello All,
I am spending the day in my office. What started out as me coming to edit an article that I have written has now turned into a office cleaning party with me and my shadow. My husband, brother, and cousin finally made it home the other night and I had food cooked for them. Today, they are heading to the river to do some fishing. My husband said my brother wants to stay away from all the well wishers who don't mean to and don't realize it but every time they come by, they just split his heart wide open again. I get it. So, our cousin is retired and he is going to pal around with my brother for the next couple of weeks. Kenny said they may run to Houston for the week and then come back up here. I don't mind them being at my little bitty apartment that only has one bathroom and two bedrooms...and they all want to watch those horrible war movies, which is fine, I don't mind staying in my bedroom watching movies on net flex...but geeze...you know? my brother said he might rent the apartment next door just so when he comes up to visit he will have more room....nice.
I am going for some iron transfusions next week. I am not too keen on doing that but this one is suppose to last for two years...so we'll see. I went to the doctor the other day to get my meds refilled and I weighed and I lost six pounds in less than two weeks and they are tripping about it...I reminded them that I have had WLS and am a vegetarian so yep I can drop weight but I can gain it too. But, the truth is, I've been running like crazy: between my sister in law being in the hospital and dying and trying to keep my brother in a good place and running to Houston to see after my older, older brother, well, it's just been crazy and the week before all hell broke loose, I went to Denver for a few days so I've been so busy.
Well, I gotta get off here and do some more office cleaning.

It's a nice and sunny day today, I just wish I felt better to enjoy it. I still get my monthly visitor so that explains why I was tired and depressed the days before. I'm jus****ching TV and maybe one of my new movies I got.
