Hey All,

I am working from home today because I am expecting a visitor and I want to cook some delicious food for her and I cannot cook from work so I'm home.

I see everyone is busy and most are traveling and that is always good.

Breakfast today: Oatmeal and Walnuts

Lunch: Potato soup

Dinner Beans, okra, fried potatoes with peppers, onions, and celery, and cornbread with corn, peppers, and cheese.

Ladies, hope you are all staying busy....eating good....and drinking water. Talk to me....and each other.

Hi!

Im busy with a eight yr old!

I brought my nephew back from Chicago with me. I am taking him home on Tuesday next week! Man is he a picky eater! I cook what he says he likes and then he won't eat!

I'm at wits end! All that boy want is sugar and I refuse to give him that!

Today we r going to Disney Springs to see the street acts. It's free!

Tomorrow Carl and Elie are going fishing again.

Carla,

I'm reminded of my pediatrician when I told him my daughter wasn't eating and she was about 7 or 8 and he said, when she is hungry, she will eat and I said, she picks at her food and he said, picking is eating and when she is hungrier, she will eat  more. LOL....I have a great nephew who would only eat kraft macaroni and cheese and I always made homemade mac and cheese and he turned his nose up because it wasn't kraft.  Well, he stayed with me when his mother had surgery and after about the third day, he began to eat my mac and cheese and my other foods that I cooked....kids are catered to way too much these days.

Hi Ladies,

Yesterday I woke up with sore throat and a runny nose but I don't feel sick. So I don't know what is going on. I still have a runny nose today. I've been sitting in the air condition so I don't feel it's allergies.

It's a rainy day here so no walk outside but I did my exercise dvd.

Breakfast McDonald's egg mcmuffin and string cheese

Lunch tuna pouch garlic and herb, yellow pepper and baby carrots

Supper cracked slaw and mixed veggies

Snack Greek yogurt with chia seeds and a banana. I might have some ice cream but not sure right now.

Next Monday I'll get to spend a couple days with my brother and SIL.

Everyone have a good evening.

Hi everyone

Today we packed a picnic and took a ride up Chief Joseph's Highway.  We were going to go to Cooke City then backtrack a little and head up to Red Lodge.  When we got to Cooke City we realized we were only 4 miles from the N.E. gate of Yellowstone.  So we headed that way.  Sadly there was a serious accident 7 miles inside the gate and we got caught for awhile.  After waiting about 30 minutes we were told that it would be at least another hour before the victim was flown out so we turned around and came back to Cody.  The drive was beautiful and next time we will go straight to Red Lodge.

I had raisin bran for breakfast,  fajita beef strips for lunch and for dinner I will be raiding the fridge for leftovers of some kind.  If I want a snack it will be fruit.

I walked a little over 6,000 steps so far today.

Hope everyone had a great day today

Today I'm on the BRAT diet.

Took the kids to see The Secret Life of Dogs.  Then we went shopping to get school supplies for needy kids at their school.  Oh my gosh.  I spent way too much money.  But, I'll save the receipt and deduct it on my taxes next year.

Must scoot.

Hugs,

Trish
