Monday setting new goals
Good Morning everyone
Today I weighed in and am one pound from my first goal with a lot of time to spare. I have not weighed myself for awhile but this morning I was down 7 pounds from my last weight. So now it is time to create another goal.
I now weigh 231 pounds. I was at 258 the day of my back surgery in September. That is a 27 pound loss. I want to be down to 220 by August 1, 2016. I will be on the road a lot but I will do this.
Today's food.
Breakfast - protein bar
snack - peanut butter on crackers
lunch - shrimp and veggies
snack - cheese and fruit
Dinner - not sure yet

That is great news. I, like you, had a few pounds to lose and am so happy that I have lost the regain.
You will drop those pounds before you know it.
My day has been sort of out of control:
Breakfast was one egg and toast
Lunch was 1/2 cup of potatoes, 1/2 cup of okra.
Snack: let me just say that I have eaten all day (2 cheese sticks, a corn on the cob, a handful of nuts, three crackers, and some celery). I'm ashamed.
Dinner will be shrimp stir fry
no snack tonight.
Congratulations to all of us! I'm down too! Not quite to my first goal yet, but down even though I was on vacation and had no scale.
I'm reeling a bit...a close friend is trying to get a diagnosis at UCSF and they have been doing all these tests. Now she has been referred to a new doctor that is a neurologist specializing in ALS...OMG... That is so damn scary. The appointment is set for July 20. How do you sit on that fear for a month? I feel like I need a Xanex after talking to her. It doesn't mean she has ALS but I had that word pop into my head a few times when I was with her.
We must be grateful for everything we have with our mobility and health.
