Good Morning ladies

Every time I post I go back an reread but I always miss something.  So this is to say that I know....asking questions end in a question mark.  Proper nouns begin with a capitol letter as does the first word of a sentence.  I wish I could say I remember all the rules concerning commas.  I don't.  I know how to spell most words but dang it I find I am having trouble remembering the spelling of the simplest words.  True to today's society I am also almost always in a hurry.  All this to say please ignore all the grammar errors, spelling mistakes, and typos.  I truly am an educated woman.  Sometimes I just don't care.

See here I go again.  Upon rereading, that last sentence made me sound kinda depressed.  I am not.  It was meant to read light heartedly.  Wow, it's bad when your disclaimer needs a disclaimer.

Linda,

I am the director of a very large writing center at a very large university and I teach writing and let me just say that sometimes I come back and read my posts and drop my head in shame...Of all things to sweat, don't sweat the writing.  I tell my students to just write....write and worry about grammar later but in our case, just write.

Linda, I went to Catholic School where good grammar was really beat into you...no pun intended...lol.

I also try to proof my posts before hitting 'enter' but most times I forget. Like you, bc I might be trying to respond in a hurry or I am typing from my home or tablet I either make mistakes or spellck likes to misquote me or look like I'm incapable of putting a sentence together that is grammatically correct!

I think as long as our message gets posted our good intentions take priority over any mistakes. I hope do anyway!
