Hey,

No one has started the thread today so here I am doing it. I have been spending most of the day cooking extra meals for the DH for when I am gone.  He cannot cook, as you all may remember, and the second week in June, I will be out of town doing the AP reading so I have to prepare food for him.  This year, it is easier than before becoming vegetarian....I made eggplant parmesan and am freezing it to see how it holds up.  We will defrost it next week and eat it and if it goes well, he will have that to eat too.  Some foods just don't freeze as well as others.

My good news for the day is I have my water in and today have stuck to my goal of drinking only one cup of coffee. My granddaughter and I have done our yoga and she did a bunch of the more complicated positions and she just cannot understand why I cannot do them.  

Well, ladies...my eating sucked today: Breakfast was a fratada made with onions, mushrooms, bell peppers, eggs, with picante sauce, and thing slices of squash on the top....I ate two servings. Lunch: watermelon ( a lot of melon) and crackers). Dinner: Pizza (cheese and vegetables)  I so messed up today...but I promise to do better.  

DH has rented a crappy movie and is laughing his butt off so I better pay attention.

Hi Jeannie

its technically still Saturday.  I was tired today and went to bed too early so here I am up before my usual bed time.  Well, I am eating a couple of crackers with peanut butter then I'll go back to bed.  I was doing ok and should have been able to doze off after I woke up.  John fell asleep without his cpap on and when I woke up I gently woke him up and told him to put it on.  Unfortunately after he did he was awake and his solution is to turn the TV on.  He falls asleep within 5-10 minutes when he watches TV.  He is like Pavlov's dog.  He has trained himself and it is a bad habit.  Once he turned on the TV it was too bright for me to be able to get back to sleep.  So here I am. 

Sorry you feel badly about your food today, but that's all it is ....today.  Try again tomorrow.  Be thankful you have a tomorrow and a chance for a do over.  You'll do fine. You got this.

It slow here this weekend.  Guess that is a sign that we are all going out and having fun, visiting friends or family, and getting in a little exercise.

I am up,dressed, taken my meds and vitamins, and now eating a little shredded wheat.  I am going to Kemah today and if the weather cooperates going for a sail on the Captain Kidd.  It rained yesterday and earlier this morning....weatherman wrong again.
