Here I am late again today.  Went to the Y yesterday worked on triceps and shoulders.  Felt fine all day but last night had back spasms. Scared me but I had one muscle relaxer so I took it before I went to sleep.  Woke up feeling better but a little groggy all day.

Carla hope your friend is okay.

Julia good luck with your craft room.

Everyone else.  Hope all is well and you have a great day.

Hey Linda,

I'm usually the one dragging up the rear. Spasms are the worst. I get them in my legs all the time.  It's crazy.  Hope you are feeling better today.

Hi Ladies,

Carla sorry about your friend. Will keep them in my prayers.

Kathy I understand about the cold and dreary day, I didn't want to get up either but I had things to do.

Jeannie glad you got a workout space now. I always wanted to try yoga but haven't.  Maybe I'll get a dvd from the library and try it.

Julia try to have fun with the jewelry class.

Linda sorry about the back spasms, hopefully they are gone away.

As for me, I had another busy day. I even got my exercise in today even though I really didn't want to do it.

Tomorrow is my birthday. I have to get up early to have my breakfast since my dad and stepmom are taking me out for early lunch. Then I'm meeting my SIL at her job and going home with her for the weekend. I think we are going to play euchre tomorrow night.

Everyone have a good night.

Love and hugs,

Yvonne

Yvonne,

In the beginning, I read books and watched videos. My goals were never and still aren't high. I don't aim to do the complicated yoga poses but I do the ones that are easy enough for me but that force me to do some stretching. I love how good I feel during and after. I have a yoga coach that I trade with like I'll do editing for her or more recently, I made her an afghan in exchange for two months of yoga...So, every other Saturday, I go to her studio and we work out for about two hours....it's really nice.  Then, one of my colleagues teaches yoga and tai chee or however you spell it and over the summer, we get a group together but the other times, we alternate offices and do our yoga that way.

I think you find it very good for your legs, arms, and neck.

Just a late, quick check-in.

Watched Frankie all day, and took him to the museum for almost three hours.  They have a playroom for kids four and under.  It has a big water table, with plastic smocks, and tons of water toys.  It also has puzzles, tons of Discovery Toys, a climbing thing with two slides, and other fun stuff.  He had a blast.  I am exhausted.  Getting up at 7:00, and playing with Franlin all day is tiring.  He's a good boy, and plays nicely alone, and with other kids, but my body is not used to it two days in a row.  I'm also watching him all day tomorrow.

Hugs,

Trish

Trish,

I know how hard it is on us gals when it comes to our babies. We are getting our two grandkids this weekend and I am already coming up with a plan for keeping the girl occupied. The boy is fine playing video games or board games with granddad but the girl wants to sew or cook...and I do whatever she wants. LOL...get some rest before tomorrow.
