Sorry I misread. So Jazz's mom's fiance is a Vet.

When I was losing I used to drink those dratted protein shakes. I can't even look at one again. They make me ill. Yes, protein bars are a good way to get our protein in. However, there are extremes. I am still, one year later, addicted to the Power Crunch Chocolate Mint Protein Bars. Lisa tells me all the time to go on TLC's My Strange Addiction. But those people eat soap and horrible things. I only eat those protein bars....but every day.

Hello Arlene...I had you and Carla missed up and at first I thought she was the one having anxiety issues. I corrected that post!

I am sorry your anxiety causes you to slow down. I hope you can see the right therapist to help you with that.

Those protein bars are good especially the ones that taste like candy bars. I avoid those at all costs!!

Love and hugs to you.....connie d

Hello Kathy..... I have a HUGE problem with craving CHOCOLATE and I always have. That didn't go away because of surgery!

I am really, really trying to keep chocolate out of the house. I settled on tootsie roll suckers. I buy a variety of flavors. They last a long time and the sweetness helps my cravings. So far!

I am praying you get that job if that is what you want. I agree I would rather work with older people then teens. I couldn't handle all their nonsense anymore. Kids are sure not what they used to be. No respect for anyone or anything!!

Sorry the kitchen walls are giving you so much grief. That would be hard to cleans. I think you are right, you will need to repaint.

So your daughter is getting married. I hope Jazz is excited about that change. Congratulations to them!!

My granddaughter, Amanda, is getting married in September decided on having a small wedding too. They are each only going to invite 50 people for a total of 100. That total also includes the bridal party and all family and friends. They are renting a place in the woods with a beautiful view. Just keeping it simple is what they want. They will have a meal afterwards but nothing expensive. They are doing a lot of the decorations, invitations, and things on their own. That is just who they are. I am very proud of them!

I am doing very well. I do love to walk!! I had to walk inside the last couple days because of the cold weather and rain. I am doing my best to keep moving. As for Nic we are so thrilled with that news, most of all Nic!!! Gracie is doing fine. She told me she was pretty scared when she couldn't talk or walk right. I told her that now she was just like me. I walk funny and talk funny too!! She laughed and laughed!! Then she said, "Oh Nana I love you"!! I have been smiling since!!

Have a good evening...I love you...hugs too...connie d

So sorry to hear Rick's aunt has pancreatic cancer. Prayers coming her/your way. Will be swinging chickens too.

Goodness, don't know who Rick's little princess is, but getting thrown down the stairs, holy crap. If it were me, the thrower would end up in the hospital. I would not take that kind of abuse. And with 3 kids, what a shame. I cry at situations like this because it teaches the children to be abusers. What a sad situation.

I love your posts, Judy, most of the time they are hilarious, today is a serious one.

Take care dear.

Love, Arlene.

Hi Judy....I need to answer your post first.

I am so sorry about Rick's Aunt. That is a tough cancer to have. It spreads so quickly. I have prayed and I will keep playing for her and Rick and you too!

So the princess got beat up. I hate when men do that to women. They are cowards. Taking their anger out on women shows what a low life he really is. I hope she presses charges right away. I also pray he doesn't give her a line and she falls for it and goes back!

Rick's family is really dysfunctional....so is mine! Why his own mom doesn't let him know about his daughter is so wrong. Sometimes things just make us sit and shake our heads!!

TRY to have a good day!!

Love you...HUGS....connie d

Hi Connie, I see you are doing well. Walking also. Good for you. I have no excuse. I started walking and then my knee hurt and I stopped. The thing is, I feel so much better after I walk.

About the abuse, I think it is a shame. And it is so much worse when there are children around to see physical abuse. Emotional abuse is bad, but physical abuse can kill someone. Then with the children around to see it, it affects their emotional well being immensely.

Praying, Judy. Cancer...cancer everywhere. How old is Rick's aunt?

In terms of his daughter I hope she gets out & stays out. The kids DO NOT need to experience that.

I am happy you are loving your trip on your way to see Vinnie. Carla, I am jealous. You don't stay in one place for long, lol. And now you have your better half with you.

I've traveled through VA and yes it is beautiful. I love, love the hills; Florida being so flat.

Have a wonderful trip and have fun!

Hi Carla and my OFF family:

Well, it's my last day of vacation. I had an appointment with my psychologists, and we had a lot to talk about. One thing was that youknowho got a job. Yup, the one I got called for a reference. Well, I'm glad he's employed. Not that I'll ever see that money. I found out about it from this woman who knows him that had friended me on Facebook. I told her to let him know I don't want any contact from him. So I talked about that with my shrink, among other things.

I put a bunch of stuff on eBay last night to sell. Trying to clear out the stuff in the apartment, plus I need money. A little here, a little there. Already got some bids, plus one who wants to buy the things now. Always a good thing. So I'll make a little money.

Anyway, not much else happening. Going to watch the White Sox game today. Didn't go to the Y today; my body really hurts today, so I'm taking a day off. I think we're going to get rain today or tomorrow.

Carla, enjoy your time with Vinnie. When's the new baby coming?

Judy, sorry to hear about Rick's aunt.

Kathy, good luck on the job hunt.

Well, have a good day.
