Good Morning Saturday

Hello sistahs.  I am home.  I think.  We sailed into Ft Lauderdale Tuesday.  We disembarked a little later than scheduled.  Customs was slow.  We were the only ship in port and it was mid week.  I think they didn't schedule enough agents to handle the nearly 4,000 passengers.  It didn't affect us since we were staying overnight anyway.  Wednesday we took a flight back home.  Thursday I spent doing all the laundry and unpacking.  I still have odds and ends to put away.  Yesterday I went to the Y for the first time in nearly a month and today I am feeling it.  PAIN.  I am heading out to the back yard after I eat to pick weeds.  They flourished while I was gone.  I also have to prune my azaleas since they are through blooming.  I have to hurry and try to beat the rain.  I will try to share pictures from my trip soon as I can if I can figure out how to do it.  Tomorrow I pack again.  Leaving for Arkansas on Monday for a business/pleasure trip.

I have read a few posts but still have to get caught up on all the doings.

Well today it is nice and I am needing to find my capri's!!! Got my shower in this morning before Rick LMAO!!! Our ho****er tank is only 28 gallons so it only serves one shower then wait til it heats up again...I beat him!!! LOL  Oh well he went to wash my car and came back picked me up and Bandit and we all went to wash the truck. Stopped to buy some wax and tire stuff...I went in with him and asked the guy if that was enough for BOTH the truck and car...he said oh yeas!!! Rick gave me the "look" I told the guy I wanted to make sure because when it comes to doing "MY" car it seems there is never any left... He laughed. Rick said come on...  well its true!!! My car never gets done. MAYBE a wash now and then but WAXED??? LMAOOOOOOOOO  So anyhow we get back home and what one does he do first??? YUPPERS...The TRUCK!!!!!!!!!!! Go figure!!!!! And that silver PT Cruiser that just pulled in here better NOT be his mother!!!!!!!!

No word on my tenant that went to Columbus last night. I hope she will be OK. Please keep her in your thoughts and Prayers. Her daughter is so worried.

Going to Bingo tonight. Hopefully no cards the same tonight!!!! That really SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!

Nope wasn't his mom...was an aid...THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!

Well Bandit needs to potty walk so better take him out.

Glad you got a break in the cold weather and can now wear warm weather clothes.  It has been hot here for several weeks.  Good luck on getting your car waxed or at least washed.

Rick better start doing your car right!! Tell him if not he will be paying to have it done!! You have to keep your car waxed. Maybe he needs to start with your car first!!! At least take turns!!

I missed something...what about the tenant going to Columbus? Did she go alone? I hope she is okay!! Sending prayers.

I am glad the car didn't belong to Rick's mom!!! LOL!!!

Judy you r a kick! When Rick is done waxing he can trip right in down and wax my two beasts! They need it bad!!! He can just get in my grooves in I-95 they are well worn!!!

well I got a new craft gig going! Silk scarf painting!!! We r doing it at the park tomorrow. Watch for pics on Facebook!!

oh and my garbage disposal exploded today! Water flooded under my kitchen sink big time this morning! What a crazy crazy mess!!! So I'm getting a new garbage disposal today!!!

Carla....Silk scarf painting sounds fun.  I used to do ceramics and such but you can only use so many spoon rests and holiday decorations.  My family and friends began to panic when opening gifts from me.  I don't think anyone would think they could have too many silk scarves.  Have fun

Connie that's why we rent! My cousin got it for us and his handy man came and put it in for me! I just had to clean up the cupboard!!! I ?? renting!!!!

That's why we rent too. Our dishwasher has been leaking lately. The apartment maintenance guys have "fixed" it twice ... and it still leaks. We'll give them another call on Monday. But at least they do something. Gary's hoping for a new one.
