Good Morning Saturday

Good afternoon Linda and everyone....

Linda.....what a whirlwind you are in!! You just get unpacked and then you pack again. I hope you enjoyed/enjoy your adventures. It is amazing with all those things to do, you still found time to go to the YMCA. That is great!! Catch you after your return trip!! Keep safe!

As for me.... nothing much going on here. It is another beautiful day!! It is 75 degrees. The sun was shining but now it is all overcast. They have forecasted rain for later on.

I did go out for my walk about noon. There was a very nice breeze and I did enjoy being out there. I may go out later if it doesn't rain. I will just go a little way this time.

I had a horrible night's sleep last night. I had dreams of my mother dying over and over. It was awful!! I then started dreaming about my ex boyfriends Dwayne and Tony. I don't think I got much restful sleep in at all!! That explains why I have a headache since I woke up!

Prayers for all our precious OFF Family and their families. Special prayers for those in need.

Have a good afternoon and evening. I will try to stop back later.

Lots of love and bunches of hugs to all.....connie d

Connie  so sorry you didn't sleep.  That's awful.  I'm always cranky after a night of no sleep.  Its the worst.  Glad you got out for your walk.  I enjoy walking when the weather is nice but "nice" for me is a small window.  At 75 degrees I can't walk far.  I get overheated so easy then dizziness follows.  I always take water even for a short walk but the heat takes its toll on me.  I know 75 is not hot and is quite pleasant if I am not walking or hiking.  40 t0 65 with a sunny sky and a light breeze is optimum for me.  Summer is Houston has me being held captive by the AC.  That's why I go to Wyoming in the summer.  We hike in the Big Horn mountains where it is usually cool.

Hope you sleep tonight and without bad dreams.  I don't know much about dream analysis don't know if I even believe it but I do think stress and anxiety can contribute to poor sleep and possibly awful dreams.  Maybe someone else has some insight.

Hope it gets better.

Hey Linda...I slept much better last night....thank goodness! Thanks for caring. Sorry I only saw this post now.

I walked again today. It was so beautiful outside!!! Once the humidity starts to climb I will be stuck inside. My allergies aren't liking it out there. I go while I can still handle it!!

You are lucky you have the choice of going where it is cooler in the summer. That would be great!! Also I would love to get away in the brutal winters!!

Love and hugs to you...connie d

Hi Ladies,

It's a nice warm day today. I had shorts on the last 3 days. I cleaned out my closet and took the clothes that are too big out and hung up the clothes that my SIL gave me. I'll take my big clothes to Goodwill later on. I'm watching one of my new movies right now.

Linda glad you had a nice  time on your trip.

Judy good luck at bingo tonight.  I'll pray for your tenent.

Connie  glad to hear you are getting out to walk.

Carla sorry about your garbage disposal.  Hopefully it was an easy fix.

Thoughts and prayers for everyone.

Love and hugs,

Yvonne

Hello Yvonne...be sure to save one of your biggest pieces of clothes as a reminder of why you took this journey. Look at it often for encouragement!!

I am so grateful to be out and walking again!! I absolutely love to walk. I must remind myself that I can't go as fast and as far as I once did. Slow and steady. I still get off balance now and then so I must keep my walker and Life Alert with me at all times. I have a nice comfy seat on my walker if I need to use it. I am praying in a couple months or so, as my body gets stronger,  I will be able to just walk with my cane. Right now my doctor says only inside when walking short distances. I better listen. My last bone scam showed my bones to be deteriorating pretty fast. That is even with all my calcium levels and all the testing of my levels as being great. Everything is right where it needs to be. My doctors agree if I fall I am at a very high risk of breaking something very easily. Makes me so mad!! I will be careful!!!

I am going to go out now for a short walk just for some more fresh air.

Have a wonderful rest of the day!!!

Much love and many hugs to you...connie d

Yvonne, sorry I forgot you. I'll ditto what Connie says ... don't run out and buy all new clothes right away. And keep one piece of the old to remember what it was like. Congrats on the weight loss.

Ynonne...Doesn't it feel great to not be able to get into our clothes because they are too big.  As the pounds drop and the clothing size with it you will be so excited.  Sometimes it happens so fast that clothes you buy can only be worn for a few weeks.  That's why I shopped resale shops and Walmart until I stabilized.  Congratulations on the loss.

I just got home from Izzy's first soccer game.  They were slaughtered by a team that practices five days a week.  But, Izzy reminded me of Colleen when she played.  Back in the Fall, she wasn't as aggressive.  Not today.  Plus, the ref called zero fouls, and the other team was pushing and shoving throughout the whole game.

Lincoln had a flag football game this morning, against his cousin's team, which Trent's brother coaches.  He even pulled his cousin's flag, preventing him from scoring.  Boy, can he run.

I finally wore my capris and a sleeveless top.  Got a good dose of Vitamin D too.

Must scoot.

Love,

Trish

Hey Trish....I have been very worried about you. I just feel you are struggling right now. I am sure it has something to do with the possible move but not completely. Is there something going on with your health? Is it just the nasty blue funk? I am not being nosey, I am concerned. Call be anytime if talking would help!

I am so glad you got out for some vitamin D!!! Isn't being outdoors again just wonderful!!! Just getting out of all those winter clothes makes us feel better!! I could sit outside all day!!

It was nice that you got to see Izzy at her soccer game. I am sure she did great!! As the season goes on they just get better and better. I am glad she is into sports too!!

Gracie has been playing soccer for few years now. She is lucky because her mom, my daughter, Jamie, and my DIL, Jamie's wife, Megan are the soccer coaches. They do a lot of practicing together and with there other grandpa and uncle too. This is a huge soccer family...and many other sports too!! I am so hoping to get down there for a visit soon!! I love going to her games too!! Jamie is good at making videos of Gracie's games. She does it for the team but also so I can see how she is playing. I really love that!!!

Lincoln sounds like a real sports nut too. Like you said he sure can run!! It is so important to be with others and learn new things!! Good for you, Lincoln!!!

How old is Frankie now? I bet he will be out there playing t-ball and other things before you know it!!

Have a good rest of the evening!!

Love to you and many hugs too....connie d

Hi Connie,

I'm dealing with a ton of depression things, plus the health issues.  Getting out, in the sunshine at the games sure did help.

I forgot to mention that Colleen's trip to PA was a big secret, so I couldn't tell my family back home.  She's surprising them tonight at my sis-in-law, Kathy's.

I will be okay.  I'm changing churches, dropped a friend who was upset with me for dropping out of the Relay for Life.  She didn't care that I'm struggling with depression and chronic pain.  I don't need selfish friends.

I will call soon.

Hugs
