Congrats on the budget I am sure your student will be happy for the increased pay and benefits.  Hope you get a lot done in your office.  I used to spend a weekend each month or so to do the things in my classroom that needed to be done. You just can't organize, file, and replace bulletin boards with 28 6yr olds in the room, even if they are working independently.  It just doesn't happen.

Hello everyone

I figured the only way I would not forget who posted was to reply to each post separately.  Now that is a sad commentary, but it is what it is.

I am almost through packing.  Just have to do last minute stuff that has to wait until the last minute.  We fly to Ft. Lauderdale tomorrow and then board the ship on Wednesday.  I'll try to post before we leave tomorrow then I will be missing in action until April 14th.  Internet is so expensive onboard.  Who knows maybe they will run a special.

Linda,

Have fun on your trip. My husband and I took a cruise a few years ago and I thought with the new medications for motion and sea sickness, that I would be fine but I spent the entire time in the ships hospital and finally was airlifted off the boat, put on a plane, and came home.  In Savannah, a couple of years ago, I tried the river boat dinner tour because it only was going on the river....ha! as soon as the boat started down the river, the nausea and vomiting started.  I stayed on a cot  with a medic giving shots in an IV to keep me from dehydrating.  So, as much as I love the idea of a cruise, I just cannot do it. My husband loves sailing and loves going on ships and boats, and he hates it that I am physically unable to do it...hell, I get sea sick standing nex****er that is wavy...LOL...have fun....shop and eat good food.
