Ok it's a Snowy Thursday in Chicagoland!

Hi Ladies,

I had a run in with the property management place this morning, they charged me and my friend 75.00 late fee for our rent. I always pay my rent on the 3rd of each month. They kept saying it was due on the 1st and didn't care that I get paid on the third. My friend talked to the maintenance man about it. Well he called and told whoever that we always paid on the third and that we are not late. So they are crediting us the 75.00 next month. Luckily I had my money from Christmas  to cover the 75.00. I went to the bank, dollar general and  cvs. After I ate lunch I had to run my friend to the phone store since her phone wouldn't work. Then I came home and exercise.

At least the snow went around me today and is supposed to start warming up. They are talking about 59 F next Wednesday.  Hopefully our winter is almost done.

Vickie I'll pray for you that you can lose the excessive weight you put on.

Doesn't your landlord have a grace period?  If not that is weird.  Glad you at least got a credit.  A refund would have been nicer.  Hope your day got better

Being charged a late fee was utterly ridiculous.

By law, every state has a grace period regarding when rent is due. Some states have a longer grace period than others. Glad you are getting your late fee back. I would google to see what the late fee grace period in your state is. It is usually 5 days, some states have 10 days.

Carla  Snow, well not here.  Went for a walk and by the time we hit the 2nd mile I was over heating.  It hit 86 degrees by 1:00pm  but in the morning it will be 49.  That is why we have spring colds in Texas.  Hope you had fun with Vinnie.

Hello All,

I've been so busy; I do drop by and read and try to respond. I am taking DH back to the eye surgeon on Monday and since his appointment is so early we are going down to Little Rock Sunday at noon and we are spending the night. We are taking two of our grandkids out of school on Monday so they can go with us and Monday after his appointment, we are taking them to the state capital building and then to the Clinton Library.  There's an old bridge next to the library and we are going to take some pictures of the kids there...If we have enough time when we are finished there, we are going to head to the farmers market and pick up some good food. 

Well, let me get off here and head to bed...the benadryl is making my eyes very heavy...

Ladies, you all sleep well and tomorrow do some meditation and maybe a little Yoga...my meditation teacher, when she starts me meditating, says, okay, I want you to start at the top of your head and really relax those muscles, and by the time we get to the toes of my feet, I am so relaxed. She tells me to close my eyes and think about the place that I love the most and it's always a stream of water that rolls down a hill into a pool of water and from the pool of water, the stream comes down so fast that it looks like a waterfall instead of a stream but the sound is so peaceful...so that is where I go and I try to think about every single sight, sound, smell, and touch and then before I know it, I am so relaxed my entire body is tingling and my mind is so calm...I wish I could do that without her but I cannot...I try.
