Good morning all.    I am off to the YMCA.  Worked chest and arms Monday today will be legs I'm assuming.  Talk on I catch up when I limp home.

Morning sistas,

Notice I did not say GOOD morning!  ARGH.  Reentry with Mom continues to be rocky.  As I stated last night, we got home and Mom hadn'****ered any of my houseplants!  This despite the fact that when I called home periodically last month I ASKED her if she was watering my plants!  I'm trying to let it go.  I immediately gave them all water yesterday evening, and some of them are trying to perk up a bit this morning.  But honestly!  This is a woman who gardened her whole life!  I know she knows to water the damn plants.

Anyway, we had a pretty rough night with Caralee last night.  She had her first bout of the colic.  Screamed and cried and screamed some more.  Poor Carrie was just exhausted from the drive, and she's still recovering from her C-section, and she was sore and hurting and near tears.  So I sent her to bed and I walked the floor with the baby until well after midnight.  Finally got her to settle down and eased into bed with her lying on my chest.

Well, the little bugger slept then, but I didn't.  My shoulder and neck were killing me!

So, to return to my saga about Mom, at the butt-crack of dawn this morning, Mom gets up and for God only knows WHAT reason, opened my bedroom door.  Well, I mean, I do know what reason.  She opened the door to let the dogs out.  We had Molly and Maybelle sleeping on the floor of my bedroom.  But they were just fine.  Instead when she opened the door, she let Lulu come in!  OMG.  Lulu immediately tried to jump up on the bed RIGHT WHERE THE BABY WAS LYING BESIDE ME!

I knocked Lulu to the floor with my knee, but then she sat there and whined and begged to get up on the bed.  Not only that, but with our bedroom door wide open, Mom went into the kitchen, turned on the lights, and filled her cup full of ice.  Do you know how LOUD the damn ice maker is???  AND she left the back door open, so after I chased Lulu out of the bedroom, she went outside and proceeded to bark her damn fool head off at a bird or a rabbit or a grasshopper or whatever.  I'm sure the neighbors loved that.  There was just no sleeping with all that racket going on.

So Mom managed to wake everyone up, including the baby, and then just went back to her room.  I am livid with her.

I haven't said anything yet.  I'm too damn tired and too damn mad to be tactful yet.  I want to scream at her, but I'll try very hard not to do that. However I'm pretty damn tired and cranky this morning.  No promises.

Sorry.  But sometimes I just wish so badly I had never moved my mom in here with me.  This is one of those times.

I have a lot to do today, so too bad for me if I'm tired and have a crick in my neck.  Got to go to the store asap.  Got to go to the bank.  Got to take Mom to get her hearing aid fixed.  And I need to set up an appointment to get my taxes done.

Oh, and I have to take out the trash 'cause it's trash day.

So that's it for me this morning.  Y'all have a nice day, now, ya hear?  LOL!

Love you all!

Can you say passive aggressive.  Sounds like mom didn't like you being gone.

Sorry you're going through this readjustment.  Colic is the worst.  As adults we deal with the crying and pacing etc etc but poor little one has to deal with the pain.  Hope you day gets better as it moves along.

I was wrong about working legs today at the Y.  Monday I did triceps and shoulders.  Today biceps and back.  My new trainer is good.  He pushes but has realistic expectations.  I will be sore tomorrow but not in agony.  That is good. Hopefully by the time my sessions run out I will have a good idea what to do at the Y and how to do the same or similar at home.

John is coming home from Atlanta today so I'll have laundry to do.  Good thing everything else is already washed.

I need to jump into the shower so I'll scoot now,

Good Morning Linda and OFF,

Vickie, I am proud of you for not doing anything mean to your Mom.  If I was sleep deprived, in physical pain, and my Mom woke me that early, I probably would have done physical harm to her.  Fortunately, my Mom, like me, is not a morning person.  Her idea of waking up early is between noon and 1:00 p.m.  I hope you and Carrie are able to get some rest, and that you get some relief for your shoulder and neck.

I overslept, and am way behind in my morning routine, now that it's after 1:00.  I woke up to find that Trent plowed my driveway for me.  What a treat.

I have to take a shower, do the dishes, and get some tidying done.  My house looks like a tornado blew through.

Hugs,

Trish

Hi my OFF family:

Boy, Vickie, you are patient with your mom. I think I might have gotten violent with mine if she did that. Fortunately, we live hours away. That's the reason we get along well. And poor baby with the colic. I have no idea what that's like to go through, but I hear it's horrible. And then you and Carrie have to deal with it too. Babies are a lot of work. It's why I had cats.

Linda, glad you don't feel too sore.

Trish, glad someone plowed your driveway.

I woke up with a headache. I had a psych appointment today but canceled. Just didn't feel well enough to sit in an office today. I still have to run to Verizon. My tablet broke last night ... I had it plug in all day yesterday and when I went to turn it on, there was no power. So I used a different charger and plug it in, turned it on and got a bunch of Chinese characters and it started churning out numbers and beeping. Then it put on this square border. At one point, a picture of a cat showed up. Now it doesn't show anything. I think it's dead. I wound up using my Microsoft Surface to read on. But first I had to figure out how to link it to our wireless ... that took a few minutes and some poking around on the keyboard to find the wireless key.

Talked to mom, too. She still can only hear out of one ear. I wish my oldr brother would take her to the doc to get her ears  cleaned out.

Anyway, that's all from here. Excuse the typos I missed. Still hard to type with the neoprene cast.

Judy ...walking fast around your complex is actually very good.  If you had a gizmo to measure steps you'd be surprised how far you are walking.  As to the memory.  I am lucky if I'm able to respond to two at the most 3 posts.  I just can't remember more than that.  I wish we could see everyone's posts when we reply to the first of the thread.  Sometimes that's the reason I chose to respond to each one.  I can see their original post as I reply.  Unfortunately I don't have time to do that very often.

Good luck with all the repairs and maintenance.

Ok ya'all if my Vinnie doesn't take a nap today in going to eat her!!!

This girl won't sleep for me! I think she heard Caralee screaming last night! Vinnie woke up at 3am screaming at the top of her lungs for mommy!

We just got back from a Farm that is about 30 miles from here. We met a long time friend of ours  that used to babysit Liz when she was little. Vinnie and her Grandson played together for a bit.

I posted pictures on Facebook.
