Hi Yvonne,

Would you please share your recipe for stuffed pepper soup?  I'm always looking for new recipes and I love soups of all kinds.  Thanks!

Afternoon OFF family!!!!

Nothing more frustrating than sitting here all flipping day waiting for a delivery and getting the call its almost here at 3:30 only to find out they are over a 100 miles away and unable to deliver here because it is not in their area to deliver!!!!!! Talk about the office making a MAJOR mistake in making the purchase and delivery for us!!!!!!!!! I called the office and told them I have a new tenant moving in at 10:30 on the 3rd and that new refrigerator had better be HERE before that time or else!!!!!!! Bad enough only HALF our paint order was put in and delivered today!!!!!!! WTH is going on in the office that they can't get things done right?????????? The guys are sitting here doing nothing without paint. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR I have people wanting to move in and no apartments ready with no paint!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   So help me if my boss knew someone in the office would not have an ass right now!!!!!!! She begged me not to get her in trouble...I told her that refrigerator better be here before 10:30 on the 3rd or else!!!!!!!! See what happens.

Anyhow I DID rent the last 2 bedroom apartment today!!!!!    now for the rest of them...hahaha!!!!!!!!!!

Went to the chiro today after I went to the bank...ahhhhhhhhhh Dr Matt did work his magic on my sore body!!!!!! Love my Dr Matt!!!!!!!!!

OK supper is ready....YIPPEEEE tuna noodle casserole...

Thoughts & Prayers for ALL that need them...Extra ones for Connie's Nic!!!

I hate waiting for deliveries.  They only give you a time window and it is always all morning are all afternoon.  I don't have apartments to get ready for tenants I just don't like losing my day and when they can't make and don't call............makes me homicidal.  Glad you have a magic doctor to help with the kinks.  Do you have to go very often?  I haven't had tuna casserole in ages.  Its one of my comfort foods that I have forgotten about. hmmmmm

Linda, I used to go 3 times a week but now it's only once a week unless I am really hurting.

As for the deliveries...sometimes we don't even KNOW they are on the way!!!!!! GRRRRRRR!!!!

Hey Linda and Ladies,

I am only in for a minute. Today was our appointment to take our sweet little Ginger Pie to the vet for her last trip. When we put her in the carrier, she was too weak to even meow or get upset.  When we got to the hospital, they put us in a really comfortable room and they examined her and then they gave her a shot of something to slowly put her to sleep. DH and I petted her and talked to her and she slowly relaxed and feel into a sleep. I kissed her and whispered to her and then the doctor came back and asked if we were ready and she shaved Ginger's little arm and started an IV so she could give her the medication. She never woke up from the relaxing shot and very slowly her heart stopped. We are having her cremated and will take her ashes down to our farm to be buried where our other pets are buried. There was another woman there whose husband has parkinsons and she was there to put her little girl down too. No one was with her so I asked her if she wanted me to go in with her and she said, please. So DH and I went in and held her hand while they put her little girl down. She said that her cat was 15 and had cancer and the doctor said that we both had made the right decision.

We have an appointment to take our fat cat in next week so the doctor can try and adjust her medicine. I cannot lose another baby so we have to get her weight down.

Ladies, I hope your night is good. I am too sad to write much.

As much as I love my cats, it breaks my heart that they just don't live long.

Oh Jeannie,

I am so sorry you had to put your kitty down.  I know how that hurts.  I was with my dog, Carla, when we had to put her down years ago.  I didn't have the courage to be with our cat, Pepper though.  It was shortly after my husband and I broke up.  He was with me when Carla was put to sleep, but I couldn't do it alone with Pepper.  That was so sweet of you to be with the woman who would have been alone otherwise.

Pepper and Carla had long lives, and all the kids grew up with both of them, and were grown up when they died.  Hubby put up a fight getting them, but they were good pets.

Hugs

Hello Everyone!

I missed posting over the weekend when I usually have some downtime, but was crazy busy! Went out to eat & shop Friday night, cleaned Saturday morning, then my girls came to help hang the test of my new drapes and make veggie burgers from scratch. I slept on Sunday as we were up too late, and ran around doing last minute stuff.

I do like my job, but am really not doing well with the stress of trying to manage job, home & teenager. Jim does alot, but there are things he cannot do like the banking, grocery list, laundry and I just feel so pressured for time! My anxiety is returning along with poor eating habits. I am Kathy and I am addicted to chocolate pudding and red grapes. Sugar...ugh! So I am moving well onto a cycle of eating sugar, feeling crappy, eating to make myself not feel crappy, etc.

Not a soda addiction, but all addictions have the same end results. Geez, how we struggle!

Anyhow. I am hoping my hours decrease soon because I am literally a nervous wreck...I had forgotten how this feels...

I have been reading, but will not remember everyone's posts. Please forgive me!

Vickie, I remember being told in therapy that good stress has almost the same impact as bad stress. The baby is good stress...you are a few years older and widowed now so it takes a little more with Caralee. The cokes are your  form of self medication. You have alot on your shoulders!

Trish, we are too old to shovel snow especially with a bad foot! Hire a kid! And sorry about your friend!

Connie, you sound so much better even though still having pain. I loved your pic on FB...looked like you were having so much fun! Prayers for NIC...

Judy, lol about bingo win...& incompetency sounds like the price of doing business where you work!!! Stress again!

Arlene. I feel bad for you regarding the ex. You have a good heart and intentions. I know I do things like you describe with relatives who don't deserve it. Glad your sister in law is recovering.

Yvonne, I miss my mom sending home the best soups and baked goods every time I visited. How lucky you are!

Jeannie, I don't know where you get all the energy to do all you do, and I am so sorry about your cat. Like with Connie's family dog I find that heartbreaking.

Linda, I am still getting to know you, but for being retired you sure keep busy! You Texas girls need to stop reading us with your weather reports!

Cindy P...hope all is well.

Carla, was sending prayers for your scope

Eileen, we are both so stressed..ugh!

Mary, miss you!

Gotta go..love to all...

Kathy

I am so glad I am retired.  I remember the stress of work, house, and Kids.  Like you, I do the banking, bill paying, laundry, and used to do the shopping.  I HATE shopping of any kind.  If your Jim is willing and has extra time show him how to wash towels and underwear that are not subject to shrinking if washed and dried improperly.  I taught my kids that when they were in middle school and by the time they were juniors in high school they were doing their own laundry.  Still didn't trust anyone to do mine and hubby's except me.  Especially mine.  Hubby's attitude was if they ruin it just replace it.  He never understood that women my size couldn't just run down to the department store and find things.  I am also lucky that I don't have a chocolate addiction.  Rarely eat the stuff.  Others things not so lucky.

Seems like you had a busy but enjoyable weekend.  We all need to have fun.

Kathy sounds like you had an enjoyable weekend.  We all need a little fun in our lives.  I can relate to the stress of working, and doing the banking, shopping, laundry and kids.  So glad I don't have that anymore.  I still do the laundry, banking and bill paying along with being the official travel agency for our trips but I no longer do the shopping.  I HATE shopping of any kind.  If your Jim has the time and is willing why not teach him how to do the laundry that doesn't require any special thought such as towels and sheets.. Can't hurt them very easily.  Underwear is another easy task.  Better yet give that task to your teenager.  I had my kids do that either late in middle school or freshmen year in HS.  Can't remember which.  By the time they were juniors they were doing all the laundry but mine.  Still don't trust anyone else to do my laundry.

Hope you get some rest
