Morning Carla and OFF family yet to come in today...

Well I have been busy renting and showing apartments also getting notices they are moving out going back to the hotel where they came from last year...why they want to go back to that death trap is beyond me...oh well can't stop them...

Got my ad in paper for a NEW maintenance guy today!!! Already had a guy stop in yesterday to apply that our mail lady knows!!! Chase is really pushing it with us this week!!! Yesterday I went right through the roof when I went to see how far he was on the apartment he was working in...only thing he did in two days was paint the range hood and sweep the bedroom floor oh and put the molding around the floor in bathroom. WTH?????????????? TWO DAYS WORK??????!!!!! He missed all of Monday, took half a day Wednesday claimed he was sick...then yesterday claimed he had to go to court for his son missing school. Yeah right!!!!!!!!!! He is on borrowed time here!!!!!! Oh and yesterday Rick told him to check for icy spots...he told Rick there were NONE. Rick said get your ass over here NOW!!!!!!!! I AM STANDING RIGHT IN FRONT OF ICY AREAS!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!! I knew he didn't check for any because he came in club house and mentioned how windy it was and went straight to apartment.....I called Rick and told him!!!! He just doesn't "GET IT" that he has work to do around here!!!!!!! Playing around talking on phone doesn't get work done and neither does MISSING work.

Not sure if I mentioned it or not can't remember...DUH!!!!!!! I go see the dr on the 7th and my surgery is on the 16th. YIPPEEE.

Nothing else happening...been reading the posts that's about it...just too darn tired to post back.

Thoughts and Prayers for ALL that need them!!!

HUGSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Hello Judy.....I am so glad you are getting rid of Chase. He should have been fired a long time ago. What a waste of your time! I hope you manage to find someone soon!!!  I hope you kept good records of his work or lack of!! He will probably fight for unemployment benefits.

I am happy you are filling up apartments. At least they gave notices. I hope their apartment isn't too trashed!!

I am still praying all goes well for you on the 7th and and especially on the 16th!!

Have a good rest of the day...love and hugs to you...connie d

Good morning Carla and Judy and all my sistas,

Well, we are up and doing fairly well today.  Yesterday we were all tired and cranky and we just drug around here all day long.  Took naps and ate fattening foods all day long.  Ugh.  I think it was maybe some depression, because the night before we both had a pretty good crying jag missing Butch and talking about how Caralee won't ever know her Papaw, etc.  I was feeling pretty tore up about the whole thing.

But we're both up this morning and feeling pretty good.  Carrie, in fact, is full of energy and plans for the day.  A little bit unrealistic, in my opinion.  She wants to go to the Farmer's Market.  She wants to go to the mall.  She wants to go to the store.  OKAY.  I told her I think that may be a wee bit ambitious for her first outing!

We do need to go by the mall.  We are taking Caralee for her first photos on Monday!  Newborn photos are so sweet!  Many of them are of nekkid babies, which are so very sweet, but we also have some little heirloom baby Feltman clothes that we want to take to the photo shoot.  We're going to look for a pair of little satin/ruffly diaper cover pants.  I think I saw some at Dillards.

So I need to go get my shower.  Our days start slowly around here, but they always begin with Mimi's shower!  LOL!

Love you all!

Hello Vickie ...so sorry you had a rough day yesterday. It is only natural that you would cry over Butch and little Caralee. I get teary thinking about that situation. I pray today is a better day!

I am sure Carrie is feeling a bit of cabin fever. Back the two most important places to go and then go from there according to how she is feeling. I do agree that it is a lot for the first trip!!

Hugs that sweet little Caralee for me!!!! XOXOXOXO!!!

Love and many hugs to you and Carrie and Caralee too...connie d

Good Morning Carla and OFF,

Carla, Frankie went through a period of just crying a lot.  Now, he and I are best buds.

Vickie, Jeannie is right.  Mother's milk comes in based on demand.  Any formula given to the baby, reduces the demand on the mother.  Less demand, less milk.  More demand, more milk.  Kids spent a lot of time attached to me, but eventually, my milk was overflowing.  Does Carrie have a pump?  Colleen was given one before she was discharged from the hospital.  She said her insurance covered it.  That helped her tremendously.  That could help build up her supply.

My foot is less sore today.  It was hurting because I was overdoing it the day before.  Part of the pain is from November's surgery, and part is from January's.  I have to learn to pace myself.

Connie, I hope the regular doses of Vicodin help curb your pain.

Kathy, I hope you had a good birthday.

Today's project is to get my new printer hooked up to my laptop wirelessly.  Argh!  Technical gadgets.

I better scoot.

Hugs,

Trish

Hi everyone,

Popping in to say hi.

Carla, I see by Facebook you are having a wonderful time in Chicago. Happy you get to see Vinnie often.
Connie, hope you are feeling better today, haven't seen you on FB very much.

Vicki, I am sure you and Carrie had a good cry over Caralee never getting to know her pawpaw.
When she is older, he will be kept alive by all the wonderful stories you tell her about what a wonderful man he was. I see that Carrie want to be out and about today. You both must be tired. What a precious baby Caralee is. Please don't overdo it, either you or Carrie.

Judy, I laugh at the apartment complex stories. I sure wish I could have a job like your maintenance man where he doesn't do anything and expects to get paid.

Everyone else, I am sending my love. I have so many doctors appointments next week. I have to go to a breast specialist after second breast exam. There is a tiny nodule on right breast and I don't know if they want to do a biopsy or have me go every six months for exams. We will see.

Take care

Hello Arlene...the pain meds are starting to work. The pain is definitely getting somewhat better. I hate being tired and groggy but it is worth it to get the pain in better control.

Gracie text me today that they are going to look at a new puppy this morning. She is excited. They looked at a couple already but didn't get any because it wasn't a fit. Jamie is very particular about dogs!! This one is a golden lab. I hope it works out for all of them...even for Eddie....Megan's dog. Gracie said she will let me know. The dog is from a rescue center. They have a program named "Puppy Parole". There are prisoners that come there and work with the dogs. Each one is assigned a dog. There is six weeks of training. They teach them to sit, lay, potty, obey, and walk with a leash, and all those things. This puppy has just finished her first week. They can't get her for 5 more weeks. They must complete their training!! I hope they can get her!

You haven't seen me on Facebook much because I was in so much pain I couldn't even post. Most times I just read.

I hope all your appointments go well this week. I will be praying for you!!

Love you and hugs too...connie d
