Today might be the day!

Good morning sistas!

So we are at the hospital this morning.  Carrie has been having regular contractions since midnight.  But we are still in triage.  They haven't admitted her yet.  They need to see signs of active labor or evidence of a rupture first.  She's been having a trickle of fluid since midnight but of course nothing is leaking now.  And she's still less than 2 centimeters dilated.   Carrie was so disappointed. I had to smile. She's been walking around, breathing, and "managing" her contractions.  I could have told her things will have to ramp up quite a bit before there's any progress!  But the fluid leak brought us in. So we will see.  They might send her home.  I'll post updates throughout the day.  Not putting it up in FB yet. Please pray for a safe delivery.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH the excitement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Praying all goes smooth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You just might end up with a Valentine baby yet!!!

If you want a good laugh, see my picture on FB. What happens when a glycolic facial goes bad. I ended up going to the emergency room because my face was blown up. Lady Dr. said, oh it is just a reaction, got a script for 5 days of Prednisone and sent me on my merry way. I feel so foolish. She said you are obviously allergic to it. OBVIOUSLY.

okay we are in!  They decided that she did rupture so she's been admitted.  She's walking as much as possible but she's in bed right now getting IV.  GONNA BE A LONG DAY!  But we're both excited and ready to meet our little Caralee! Updates as they occur.

Hope all goes smoothly...and quickly today, and Caralee arrives after midnite so her birthday is ALWAYS memorable.

She has all these old aunties waiting on her!

Arlene, no reason to feel foolish! Foolish is when i need to use nair between waxing bc i am getting random long black hairs on the side of my face. Then i have a hot pink bu4n mark that is noticeable...ugh!

This is good news...now would be a good time to throw up some pit...she is in labor and it will give her the boost to get her dilated and even more importantly, get here through labor a lot quicker.  

I cannot wait for you to post updates....Yeah....

Vickie.....I am soooooooo excited!! I can't wait to see the first pictures!! I know she is going to be so beautiful. I hope she has Carrie's beautiful red hair!!

I am glad they admitted her. Less stress on both of you!! Be sure Carrie naps now and then. She will need all that energy before long!!

If Carrie can hold off until midnight it could be her little Valentine!!! Not that I want her to go that long...just saying!!! My daughters are Halloween and May Day babies!

I will continue to pray for all of you!! God is watching and Jesus and Butch are there!! I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!

Noon update:  She's at 4 centimeters and doing well.  Jeannie they started a low dose of pitocin a couple of hours ago.   So far she's managing the pain by walking and rocking her hips and breathing.  Says the pain level is about a 5. Things will start getting intense from this point forward.  two of her friends are on their way now.  Chris is coming up this evening. Lots of love and support for my girl and this precious baby.  Carrie brought her picture of herself and Butch and he's here too.  

I'll post again in a couple of hours.
