Tuesday Talk
Good Morning Jeannie and OFF,
Jeannie, the oatmeal sounds yummy, but I already had my breakfast. Cottage cheese and fresh blueberries. That's one of my favorites.
Vickie, I hope Caralee's arrival is soon. Waiting is the hardest, especially the first baby.
Linda, I hope you have a safe trip, and decent weather. We have snow here, and so do my family back East.
Well, I now have a full blown sinus infection. Called my doctor and begged for an antibiotic over the phone. Normally, they want to examine me, but I can't drive, and Colleen is working today. I don't want to ask my friend from church to drive me, because she gossips, and I think she's toxic to me, even though she's been extremely helpful. Last night, I thought my head would explode, and I was worried I wouldn't get any sleep. I got a little, but not what I need. Please pray the doc will order an antibiotic for me. I'm miserable.
Must scoot.
Hugs,
Trish

Hello Trish....so sorry you have a sinus infection again. I am praying your doctor is able to give you a prescription. I hope it can take effect soon.
I think you did the right thing by not having that church lady drive you to the doctor office. I also think she needs to have "a talk to" by someone from the church. If a church member is gossiping and hurting others that is just wrong. I am happy you stood your ground!
Try to get a nap in today if you can.
Prayers, love and hugs to you....connie d
Trish,
I love cottage cheese and berries or fruit...I had that for dinner tonight.
I hope you were able to get the antibiotics. Toxic people are never good to be around. I have a sister and a friend and they are so toxic and just gossip and they are so pessimistic...I cannot stand to be around either...keep your positive groove going and avoid those negative folks.....
Good morning Jeannie and everyone...
I would not like to be writing articles. My brain is gone! I am sure you do a wonderful job. Don't over stress about it. By now you can probably do them in your sleep. Good Luck!
I just finished eating some walnuts. They are so good and good for us!
As for me.... yesterday was a horrible flare up day. I was in bed most all afternoon and evening. Not doing much better today. However, I will make it downstairs to get my haircut and highlighting done. It has been way too long!!
I am praying that little Caralee makes her entrance soon!! I know we all do!! Vickie will love having a granddaughter. Carrie will be so excited to have her little girl. Boys are great too!! Girls are so much more fun to clothe and do their hair and all those things!
I hope all ticks are gone by the time Caralee arrives!!
I pray everyone in pain isn't suffering too bad today. I pray Judy hears good news from the insurance company.
It is 9 degrees today with a wind chill of -8. It is about 80 in here. The people around me keep their heat cranked up so high! I have a window open!! CRAZY!!!
The sun is shining in the window where my chair is and it feels wonderful!! I sit in the sunshine every chance I get!
Enjoy the rest of the day everyone. Pay it Forward when you can.
Prayers for out sweet OFF Family and their families.
Much love and many hugs to all....connie d
Hi Jeannie and my OFF family:
I've been so busy with work, I haven't had a chance to post. Last night we were told about 8:30 p.m. we were on a snow run deadline ... way too late to do anything about it. We did OK; got done at 10:45 p.m. But I don't know why the bosses were stressing. We had a few snow flurries and it was cold and windy.
So today I went and got my eye exam and glasses .... decided to splurge and got nice frames and a pair of sunglasses, too. Way more than I expected. Oh well, it's done. Went out and had breakfast afterward and then got groceries. Now I'm home and doing laundry ... it was really snowing a minute ago but now it's stopped.
I had gone to urgent care yesterday for my finger ... found out it was a fungal infection and I'm waiting now for a call back from their lab to see if my metabolic panel is OK so I can take this med they want me to take. Can't imagine how I got a fungal infection in my fingernails.
Hope everyone is well. Vickie, we're all waiting for Ms. Caralee to make an appearance. Connie, hope you're feeling better. I'm having some extra painful days too.
Hello Eileen.....how nice that you could get new glasses and sunglasses. You had a busy morning!!
What is going on with your fingernails?? Are they turning color? Do they hurt?? I have heard of fungal infections in peoples toe nails but never fingernails. That is strange? I hope you will be able to take the meds soon.
Have a good night...love and hugs too...connie d
Eileen,
A few years ago, I dropped a bowl on my toe and cracked my nail and as a result, I ended up with a horrible fungal infection...my toenail got so thick and gross looking and it hurt but I couldn't take the fungal medication unless I went off of my pain meds and the steroids that I was taking then for my MS...so I read about the different home remedies and read where vicks vapor rub on the toenail twice a day would clear it up and an over the counter anti fungal applied once a day would clear it up and let me say that over a two week period, I used both regularly and my toenail cleared up and when the new nail grew in and I was able to cut the old nail off a little at a time, it was all gone. if my toenail looks a little strange or thick, I add vics to my nightly foot care.
You need your glasses...I need to get some new ones too and am thinking of really getting some more feminine glasses...I have buddy hollow looking ones now and they make my face look like an elfs...What kind did you get?
