Saturday - What's Up?
Vic,
I remember when my daughter gave birth to my granddaughter. She and I did the exact same thing, going through all the NB and deciding to keep only a few.
I know your daughter is ready to have baby Caralee and, if she is like all of us, today rather than tomorrow. Those last few days are real trying on new mommies.
My daughter was never jealous of my son's new babies but she was jealous of the time I spent going up to see him...you just never know.
Enjoy your stay with the daughter.
Hello Vickie.....I love Farmers Markets!! They always have wonderful variety to choose from. We only have them for a couple months as growing season is short here.
Have fun putting all those things together! I am sure they will be beautiful when they are completed!!
Carrie is getting the new mommy doubts...did I pack enough....did I miss something. I remember those times. Glad she is packing early enough. One thing she doesn't have to worry about when the day arrives!
I think Christie will be fine with her new little niece!! I just hope it doesn't give her an idea to try for a daughter anytime soon. You only have so much time you can spare!!
Yes....Butch would be over the top over this precious baby girl. He would have done great with her as he did with Benny Bop and Budder!! He always looked so relaxed with the boys. Believe me he will be there!! I don't blame you for crying. This is just another of those BIG moments.
Love you .....hugs too......connie d
Morning OFF family...going grocery shopping...fish and cottage cheese I am craving...NO I AM NOT PG!!!!!!!!!! Also need water...just about out of that here.
Going to Bingo tonight and its also the Big Monthly drawing!!! Keeping fingers and toes crossed!!!
No word yet from dr or insurance about my surgery.
Have a TON of laundry to do. YUCK!!!!!!
OK Rick is just about ready to go...
Thoughts & Prayers for ALL that need them!!!

Good Afternoon Mary and OFF,
I overslept. Started a new book last night. Great Christian fiction author, Francine Rivers. Colleen is listening to the audio book, and she gave me this back in May, for Mothers Day. I hadn't read fiction in a while. The book is Bridge to Haven. It's good. I have read a lot of Rivers' books, and always loved them.
I rested most of yesterday, except to do dishes. I think I might have even closed my eyes in my rocker in the afternoon. I also changed the dressing on my foot. Must keep that clean.
One of my friends from church brought me Chinese last night. The church is bringing me meals every other day. She knows I love Chinese, and got me my favorite. Pepper steak with white rice. Their platters are big enough for three meals for me.
I have some laundry to put away, and then I am going to watch the Michigan State/Michigan basketball game at 2:00.
I'm praying for Carrie and Caralee. The last month is the hardest.
Connie, I'm glad the insurance snafoo with your insurance is cleared up.
Mary, I'm thinking of investing in a snow blower. If I hadn't had the surgery, I would have gotten one this season. Fortunately, Colleen, and my little friend, Jacob, and been shoveling for me.
Vickie, that recipe looks so yummy. I'm gonna try it.
Must scoot.
Hugs and Prayers,
Trish

Hello Trish.....I am glad you are reading your book. It is great when we find a author we like. We just want to read more.
I am glad you rested yesterday. You did get your dishes done. That sounds like it was all the energy you had left!
How is your foot healing? How many more weeks does your doctor think you will need to recover?? I pray it heals quickly!
YUM...I could eat Chinese every day!! I always made pepper steak when I wasn't eating alone. My daughter, Jamie just loved it most of all. I believe that you have 3 meals worth!!! They always give us so much food!
I am so relieved that my insurance mess was straightened out too!! That had me so worried!
Love to you...hugs too....connie d
So....Rick and I are driving along to the store and my phone rings...its my sister. I answer and she asks what the hell is going on with me...I tell her all about my scopes and what the dr said...then she drops her bomb shell on me...when this leg of hers that they are now using she is done. She will die. No more areas for them to use for her dialysis. This is it for her. Its just a matter of time. Today her cath was coming out so no dialysis. She is home from the rehab and again she said not doing well. She asked for LOTS OF PRAYERS. I told we are praying for her...so Please PRAY for her.
Thanks.
