UPDATE, Part Deux:  So Bug-a-Meister came and sprayed absolutely everything! INside and OUTside! Whew! Charged me $200 and swears that the ticks will be dead in a few hours. OKAY. He also recommended a quarterly schedule. Only about $70 from now on if we stick to the schedule. I'm thinking that's money well spent.

I'm washing my sheets in HO****er AGAIN.  Maybe I'll finally be able to sleep tonight.

So my house stinks a bit, but it's worth it.  Still no word from the realtors about today's showings.  I know it's too early.  Just anxious to hear the feedback, you know?  And would LOVE to get an offer this quickly, but realize that would be very remarkable.

I think I'm going to sit on my tick free furniture and crochet or cross stitch.  LOL!

Hello Trish and Ladies,

I am getting on here late again. I got home from work today and that stupid cast was killing my foot, so I finally told DH we needed to go have it seen about. Well, my ortho doctor wasn't on call, but his associate said to meet him at the ER, which we did. He look at the cast and said, well, did you take your pain meds and I said, look, this does't feel right and he felt of my toe that was hanging out and it was ice cold and DH said it was purple...So, the doctor had the cast man come in and take the cast off and apparently, when they put the cast on, the guy who put it on wrapped a towel up in the cast...how do you do that? So, the towel was cutting off my circulation and it is a wonder that my foot didn't rot off. He did an arterial test on  my lower leg and foot, checked my clotting times, did X-rays, and kept me there a couple of hours to get some IV antibiotics. After an hour of leaving my foot out of the cast and elevated, he decided it was okay and so he put another cast on it and this time, the doctor watched them put the cast on...amazing how it wasn't throbbing like it was before they took the cast off. So, we just got home a few minutes ago, and on our way home, we stopped at a vegetarian friendly burger place and I got the black bean burger with pineapples...the only thing bad about this burger is that it is way too big for one person to eat...so I have my lunch for tomorrow and probably my dinner too.

Six days and counting and the cast comes off and I will get the splint back on.

I hope you guys have a good night...I am so tired and the freakin' pain shot they gave me still has me all silly...I just told my husband that in the morning, we are having loaded oats and those things we put in that toaster....he said, toast...I said, yep...there you go.

Aww, man, Jeannie!  You have the damnedest luck of anyone!  Wow.  I'm so sorry that happened to you, but I'm glad you made them listen to you.  I hope you are able to relax and have a good weekend with your foot UP!

I must have missed something ... why did you get a cast on your foot? That's horrible they left the towel on your foot when they cast it. Hope it's better now.
