TGIF Morning
Good Morning OFF,
I was crazy busy getting ready for today, and don't remember opening my laptop.
Today is surgery day for me. Because my surgery isn't till 1:30, I am allowed to drink coffee and fruit juice, except orange juice, before 7:00. I can use the help waking up. Plus, my blood sugar appreciates the fruit juice. I am enjoying some 100% juice cranberry juice, which is also mixed with apple juice, diluted with seltzer water. I can't drink pure fruit juice. My pouch doesn't like it. The lemon-lime seltzer water makes it perfect.
Please pray for Colleen's brother-in-law, Toby. He's the one whose wife passed away two years ago, leaving their newborn baby boy, Hunter. Well, Toby has Marfan Syndrome, and has had two open heart surgeries so far. He's back in the hospital, with more heart symptoms. He's in his mid 30's.
I better scoot. I have to go to the lab for blood work my doc ordered months ago. Long story, so I won't bore you with why it's taken me so long to get it done.
Must scoot.

Trish praying for you today! I'm sorry you have to wait so long this morning for your surgery this afternoon. That's nerve-racking. And I'll pray for Toby too.
I am on pins and needles today. They are showing my lake house for the first time this morning. It's only been on the market two days. I am praying so hard that they will make me an offer. Wouldn't that be fantastic?
It's warm and sunny here right now. Temps headed up into the eighties over the weekend. I have decided the time is now to organize and clean out my garage. Wish me luck.
I'm also waiting on the exterminator to call. Yesterday, when I went to get my hair cut, I was sitting in the stylist's chair. I looked down and there was a damn tick crawling across my shoe! Ewww! Enough!
I did luck out at the resale shop and picked up those little 0-3 month size pants in the exact three colors I needed. Just $.99 a pair. I also picked up a couple more tees for the boys. I always seem to need extra clothes when they are here.
So busy day ahead. Wish I could clone myself and be at Carrie's baby shower in Waco this evening. I'm sure it will be nice.

Trish .....I am so sorry to hear the news about Toby. That is so heartbreaking. He sure has had a lot to deal with at such a young age. Praying for him and his all the family.
I am also praying for you that your surgery goes well and that you will be feeling better soon.
Linda....I am glad you were able to get a new refrigerator. I hope you didn't lose too much food.
Vickie....your lakehome is so nice. I can't imagine it won't sell quickly. It is so clean and inviting. I hope you get two offers today!!!
As for me..... I woke up with a headache and can't seem to shake it. I have a couple rugs I want to wash. There are only two washers here and my cleaning fairy does three loads. I don't want her tying up all the washers to do more. They are just a couple small bathroom rugs.
The weather is miserable as it is cold and damp. 25 degrees feels like 12 with the windchill. I am getting tired of the dark gloomy days. Oh well as long as I live in MN that is what it will be!
I had a wonderful time with all my kids and grandchildren for three days. Now it is going to be resting and recovering. It is a great kind of tired!!!
Prayers for our wonderful OFF Family and their families. I do that even when I am not posting. I never forget all of you here on OFF.
I will try to stop back in later if I can.

Trish..Good luck with your surgery today. Prayers going out for Toby. What a heartache, he is so young and has such a large responsibility. Life is so unexplainable.
I need to get busy gathering tax data. Also need to start cleaning out cupboards and closets. The clutter is getting to me. Today, in a few minutes actually Home depot will be delivering my new fridge. I came home from the desert and my refrigerator was hotter than the desert was. It was 73 degrees in there. The new one isn't anything fancy, just cold.

It's a sunny day today but cold. We will have a heatwave this weekend, it's supposed to get up to 46. I went to aldis this morning to get some more vegetables. I'm trying to add more vegetables to my diet. Well I need to get lunch in and my exercise done.

Hello...Yvonne....I can understand the cold weather you are getting. At least it sounds like you have more sunshine then we are getting in MN. The sun was out for about an hour this morning. Just enough to tease me!!
I am trying to eat more veggies but I sure didn't this last weekend with my family. I did pretty well. If it was meat I mostly stuck to chicken. I had too many appetizers. Most of what was left I gave away. I sent plenty home with my family.

Good afternoon, everyone!..as usual, I am behind.
Had a difficult night as both hips are throbbing but I eventually slept in bits and pieces. I am busy today filling orders for my books...oh my goodness!
I hosted my first "COLOUR ME HAPPY" Workshop Thursday afternoon. We had 22 ladies plus Jennifer and myself. We served wine, chocolate, cheese & crackers .....I supplied all of the materials needed to give the ladies some hand-outs and two colouring pages. The workshop was 1:00 pm until 3:30 pm, expecting everyone leaving and gone by 3:30...however, after the class, they were still seated, soo relaxed and chatting, making new friends, renewing old friendships at 4:30 pm!!
We gave out lovely door prizes too, and sold colouring books. If you are on FACEBOOK, check out the photos.
This evening (after our rural hydro rates lower at 7 pm - non-peak charges), I will be making an IMPOSSIBLE CHEESEBURGER PIE and a batch of "Crack"..a brittle toffee-like candy made with soda crackers...This will be for our BPW NIAGARA EXECUTIVE MEETING on Saturday afternoon...everyone brings something to share for lunch.
My weight continues to yoyo up and down 3 pounds. I drank water and age cheese at my workshop..and, get this..ate only THREE chocolate-covered jujubes! The miracle is that I tasted the treats then stopped. But i am grateful to be where I am and trust that, eventually, the weight will drop slowly again.
On Monday, our entire Ontario membership will have voted on a suggestion of date change that I had last November in order to be able to offer extremely affordable room rates at a local hotel chain for our annual provincial conference for which I am responsible..all 3 days of resolutions, debate, voting plus meals and entertainment and activities. I enjoy doing this, and it is something that I am good at, but, of course, everything happens at once...from all communications that I am getting from the upper executives, I will get what I want and next week I will be able to begin serous negotiations over the rest of the many details. However, I must wait until I get the official OKAY. Waiting on pins and needles here.
Add to all of this, I have sold out printing number two of several titles and must now pay for a third printing...plus ordered my business cards..alot of paying OUT right now. I am really not good at accounting and paperwork discipline so I struggle to keep myself up-to-date.
5PM and we are experiencing a BRIGHT sunny day and the days are getting longer...sunsets are later and later....SPRING must be coming soon!?

ok you guys we had two tablets that we going off contract on our Verizon plan? I jumped and got a new IPad pro! it has a learning curve! I hated Windows 10. Give me back my windows 7!!! So Carl wants my Dell and I have the pro! What a deal!
I dont think I'll take it to Chicago. I'll take my mini.
