Well I went to the dr about my bleeding internally...he is going to do a scope down my throat and also a colonoscopy at the same time. YIPPEE. He is going to check out my inards well he said to make sure nothing is wrong with anything and if there is he will see about fixing them. OK.
Sent me for a script to clean my colon out...oh no can't use anything over the counter that is cheap you know...I asked him already!!!!! Mind you I have a deductible to meet...anyhow went to pick up my script for the clean out stuff...co-pay...$79.42 before taxes!!!!!!!!!! WTH????!!!! Plus I had to buy some dulcolax!!!!!! Nice huh? Atleast that was cheap!!!!!!!!! Not sure what his office call is costing me yet...I have a $1250.00 deductible thank you OBAMA!!!!!!!!!!
So anyhow my testing is done on the 21st and I have a TWO day clean out. YIPPEEE!!!!!!!!!!!! I can hardly wait!!!!!!!!!!!
So thank you ALL for the thoughts and Prayers!!!
Love you all so much!!!!!
HUGSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
I'm really glad that they are looking into this now. You really can't mess around with internal bleeding Judy. I'm also really glad that you had insurance even though you will be out the $1250. Without the insurance you would be paying the whole shebang and my colonoscopy alone was probably around $7000. This is exactly why you need the insurance.
Judy....Oh what a fun thing to look forward to, not!!
I don't have a deductible, but my co-pays are ridiculous.... I remember the days when employers paid your health insurance in full, and when Maura was born, my husband had to pay $5.00/week to add he on to his poicy. The good oi' days really were good!
We can, in part, thank Reagan for allowing the de regulation of insurance companies to the extent that they started telling the doctors how long patients could come in and stay....I remember those days well: all the nurses nationwide had to cut down their hours by a day or two just so all of the new nurses could keep their jobs. With the decrease in hospitalizations, nurses were getting laid off right and left. I also remember the hike in insurance premiums and copays and all of that...Thank you Ronald Reagan, may you rest in peace...
