New Year's Plans and Promises for Accountability

Sorry I'm late.  No excuses.

Here are my goals:

New Year's Goals 2016

1.      Cut down caffeine.

2.     Cut down on soda, addicted to Diet Coke.

3.     Wean off sugar.

4.     Increase water.

5.     Once foot is healed, increase walking to over 10,000 steps a day.  Fitbit.  Setting alarm on the Fitbit, to get up and walk five times a day for ten minutes, even in the house.

6.      After foot is healed, go swimming at a school community pool near here.  They have an Aquafitness class I'd like to check out.

7.    Find new recipes to add variety to my menu.

Right now, I'm focused on cutting down of the Diet Coke, and increasing the water.  I won't tackle everything at once.  Getting off the Diet Coke is tough right now.  Then, I can tackle the caffeine and sugar.

 Hugs,

Trish

Good goals Trish. I feel you on the Diet Coke. It's a hard addiction to break...me too. I'm down to one a day but some days it is hard going!

I really haven't thought about resolutions, but of course, I do want to do better not just on my program, but also doing things that will give meaning to my life and make me happier.  When Jim first passed, I shut down - now I'm slowly moving forward.

Foodwise:
1.   Preplan my daily or weekly menus.

2.   Find and repair new recipes rather than eating the same old things over and over.

3.   Weigh and measure and log in myfitnesspal.

Lifewise:

1.   Continue attending church and volunteering.

2.   Maintain contact I just recently reactivated with two former friends.  Expand if possible.

3.   Develop habits that will occupy me during the evening (coloring, crocheting, meditating).

4.   Attend some classes.  (cake decorating, jewelry making, ????)
