Merry Christmas from the Jewish Girl!!

Good Evening All !!

Had a great day today.  Spent the morning wrapping presents, then went over to Maura's for the day.  I had lots of things to bring over, and everything was a big success.  Maura made a simple dinner of roast chicken, dressing, mashed potatoes, and green beans.  Taylor distributed the presents and everyone was happy with their presents.  I got a neck pillow with heat/massage features.  Feels great when I put it on.

It was nice to be able to go to Maura's place.  Jim never wanted to go anywhere, and I always stayed home with him.  Maura is on vacation next week, and we are planning on checking out the senior housing by her home and in the nearby areas -- want to get on some lists - and find out how long waiting lists are.  Probably around two years, and I'll see what my situation is at that time.  We'll probably spend a day together, leaving Taylor in day care for the day.

So, it was a peaceful, happy day, and I enjoyed myself thoroughly.  Hope everyone had a good day.

I am so glad you had a great day today! It sounds like everything went really well. Seems like everyone was happy with their gifts. I love those heated neck pillows. I lost mine somewhere in one move or another!!

Your dinner sounds yummy to me!! I love roasted chicken!!!! I am sure Maura is a great cook! It is so good for you to be able to get out and do fun things again!! Have fun together checking out Senior Housing. I need to look into it myself. I wi**** was possible to see the places but it is too far away. I will have to use the internet and phone!
