Merry Christmas everyone.
Slept in this morning and it was blissful. I'm tired from baking and cooking! I made peanut brittle and fudge last night, Mom's favorites.
Today will be a lazy. Nothing major planned other than making Christmas dinner.

Hope you get out today, Carla. I remember spending Christmas in the hospital when I had my right knee revision. Kind of a bummer for me.
I have to work tonight. Talked to mom and Gary. I was hoping to talk to my great-nephews in Texas, but Gary said the boys were taking a nap already. So I missed them. Pooh!
Hope everyone has a peaceful day with no drama. I had my family gathering. I don't mind being at work ... I get more money.
Vickie, I know this first holiday is going to be hard on you. Take comfort in your family that's here. And know Butch is still with you in your heart.
Jeannie, I'm glad Christmas Eve was somewhat peaceful with your daughter. Don't expect an apology.
Don't remember everyone else ... I just hope everyone has a happy day filled with love and family.

It was a lovely day for me. Quiet, but not stressful. I have stuck to my eating plan so far. My sister in law hosts Christmas breakfast with a million different sweets, but I stuck to the scrambled eggs! Had a big juicy pear which cost me 25 carbs but, hey, better than the sweets! Dinner will be easier and I will have a slice of the no sugar crust less pumpkin cheesecake I made. My sister in law hosts a beautiful day. It was a lovely surprise to have my stepchildren arrive here a little while ago; they always spend Christmas eve and day with their mom and stepfather but today they came back here for dinner. So we are together which is fantastic!. WE will open presents tonight when we get home. It's also nice that,my sister and brother In law live up the street from us; we just walk ip the street to visit.
Thank you all for the wishes, and the prayers, today and all year long. This is a lovely little family.

It sounds like you had a wonderful family day!! I am so glad your stepchildren came back to spend more time with you and everyone at your SIL's.

As for me..... I am just exhausted. I had a wonderful day with my daughter. We talked and laughed and just had a great time together. We watch old movies and Christmas movies too. Carrie cut my hair and gave me a pedicure. It was wonderful. She is a little concerned about how easily I get worn out. She is going to talk to my daughter, Jamie.
Gracie was the first to call me this morning and tell me Merry Christmas. They had a snow storm. Nic was out plowing He loves to do it and he makes good money from it. It sounds like everyone else was having a good Christmas!!! AS the day passed by they all checked in.
I hope everyone had a good Christmas!! I love you all so much!!
