Good morning....it is Sunday the 3rd!!
Hey Ladies,
Let me just say that 2016 came in with a bang and day three is still pounding loud and clear. We've had the grandkids almost the entire break, and today we are taking them home. I will secretly celebrate. LOL I love my babies with all my heart but having a 17, 11, and 8 year old in this little apartment has had its challenges. They argue about every single thing. The girl has been here non stop other than Christmas Eve and the boys have been here in between hunting and fishing things. Today, all three are fighting over some game...I'm so ready.
Last night, I got the Yoga mat out and started trying to some some of the more complicated poses and I can see this is going to take work. My problem is that through out my life, I've always been pretty successful at anything I try. I'm not bragging; it's a fact. However, now that I'm older and have lived for a good many years being obese and then losing weight and now suffering with MS, I've found that while my aptitude for my physical world is still there, my ability is way gone. I start my classes next week and will see how it goes but you'd think I could do a couple of floor poses...not so much. I can do them with help so maybe that's what I will be doing for a while.
The eating part of my goals is pretty easy but for the cutting out the caffeine....today I only had two cups so maybe there's hope.
I'm in the middle of getting the kids clothes washed and dried so they go home with clean clothes...soon we head out the door and down the mountain...
Ladies, have a good day.
Hello Jeannie...oh my..... 17, 11, and 8....that is a handful!! I am glad you will be getting a bit of a break now. I know it isn't because you don't love them and want them there, it is just that you are running out of the energy it takes to handle all that in a apartment! Enjoy your upcoming little break!
I have tried Yoga a few times at various stages of my adult life. I could never do it. Too painful to be on the floor. I had a trainer and she agreed no floor for me!! I wish you the very best!!!
You are so sweet making sure all the kids have clean clothes going home. I am always like that too!! I am even like that myself with my own clothes. I hate doing home with dirty clothes!!
Have a good rest of the day...love and hugs...connie d
