Hello Vickie....I am praying you have a safe trip to Waco. Enjoy the birthing class with Carrie and Carlee!!!

Stop along the way and take some deep breathes. Say a few prayers. Those two things will help relieve some of the stress. Repeat as needed!! It works pretty well for me. I LOVE YOU!

Have a good evening....I pray you can sleep well tonight!!

Lots of love and hugs....connie d

Hi Mary and my OFF family:

We're chatty here today. I don't have much going on. Last night was quiet at work. Which is good after the days before because I'm usually tired after those two days. Today is dreary and gloomy again, which is making me a little depressed thinking about what the future holds, with the new company coming in, with less people on the desk trying to put out the same number of pages. I'm getting a little depressed. I do have an appointment next week with a new shrink. I hope that helps.

Gary started his new job this morning. Heard him getting ready to leave, didn't see him, though. Probably won't see him til tomorrow.

Have to get in the shower and have lunch. Have a good day.

Hello Eileen....sorry you are depressed. This is the hardest time of the year for depression. I know you know that.

I have no desire to do a damn thing. I am posting because I promised myself I would do this today. Not that I don't want to chat with everyone, I am just not feeling well at all. Physically or mentally!

I am sorry you have so many worries about your job and future. The newspaper staff never wants to add more people but expect less people to get the same amount of work done at the same amount of time. That is just so wrong!! I actually am quite worried about you! I pray for you every day more then once a day!

It is snowing here. Like I said up to 6-9 inches of snow expected tonight through the morning. I am so glad I finally bought some new boots. I am so afraid of falling!! Tomorrow is my grocery/ errand day. I am so glad I have a driver. Thank you Lord!

I hope the new doctor/shrink works well for you. I think having Gary living there is so helpful. Still you have other things to be concerned about. You need someone you can talk things over with and feel comfortable doing so. I am always here for you. I am not the greatest talker right now but I can listen!!!

Have a good evening ....if possible!!

Love you...HUGS.....connie d

Mary, sometimes we are our own worst enemies. First of all, you have recently had the loss of a loved one. Give yourself a break. Also, I am somewhat shy like you. When we need to be around others, shyness is difficult to deal with. I think everyone now and then has those thoughts about people not welcoming them.

But please know you are a lovely person and people will like you. Please join the coffee group the next time. It has nothing to to with 'growing up.' Some of us are more reserved than others.

Hope you get help with your shoulder.

Whatever you do, try to replace what is called stinkin thinking with positive thinking.

Love,

Arlene

I wanted to answer each and every post today, but I have an unbearable headache. I have constant sinus issues, many times I get sinus headaches.

Good morning Mary and everyone....

Mary....I am glad you had a nice Thanksgiving with Maura, her guy and of course Taylor!!  I am always so happy when I know you have Taylor with you!!

I am sorry the  pastor and the congregation  weren't more welcoming at the church. I have never been to a church that didn't welcome new members. The Pastor always makes and announcement. Others make sure you are directed to the coffee group. I think a note would be a helpful thing for both of you!! I hope you get it all worked out.

Please do call your doctor and go in and have he/ she check out your shoulder pain. It could be many different things. I will be praying for you.

As for me.... I am doing okay. I think it will take the rest of the week to get my pain levels at least to a 5. I will not be traveling anywhere out of town at this time. I let Jamie know I won't be down for Christmas. She works the day after as does Carrie so they won't be coming either. That is okay. Carrie reminded me that moving closer to her is the answer. I know she is right. I won't even think about it during the winter months.

I had fun with my Nic being here. He finally let Tom know he was here to see me and help get things done for me. He was only gone 3 nights of the 10 days he was with me. He did so much for me. Like I said we cleared out 5 more totes of things from storage to be donated. He then delivered them there. He finally got my bedroom TV up and running. I even have Netflix in there now. He cleaned and went out and bought a filter for my humidifier, then set that up.  Took me to the bank, the drug store and then he did a couple other quick runs for me.  He did the majority of the cooking and cleaning up. I do miss him! He was good company.

We are supposed to get 6-9 inches of snow between tonight and tomorrow morning. Carrie called me this morning on her way to work. She said they already had about 2-3 inches and are expecting  up to 12. She said the roads and freeways were nasty already.

Prayers for our OFF Family and their families. Special prayers for Judy's family, Kathy, Mary and others that have requested them.

Wishing you all a beautiful day.....you are all just the BEST!!

Much love and many hugs to you all.....connie d

Sorry you will be on your own at Christmas. I will too. Gary is going down to see his son in Dallas, then his friend in Lubbock, TX. I am going to see my family the Sunday before Christmas, and they're having the party later (3 p.m.) so I don't have to get up so early. I'm sure my sister will complain. Too bad ... I live the farthest. I have to work on Christmas. We can be phone buddies ... I can call you before I go into work. That way we can't be too depressed.
