Sorry I didn't stop by yesterday.  I was out of it.  Between the pain, and the meds, I was useless.  We got bout 8 inches of snow.  Good thing I can't go anywhere.  I'm so grateful Colleen and Trent put my car in my garage.  The automatic door opener is broken, and Colleen used  my car to take me to the hospital for surgery, and go to teach that night.  Trent needed the van for the kids, and Trent's car is full of tools he uses for work.  My car was at their house till Friday night.  

I spent yesterday watching football.  Penn State lost.    But, Michigan State won.    

Today, I'll watch stuff on On Demand when I'm no****ching football.  I can't get the Eagles game here, so I will either watch the Lions, or Redskins, or NFL Redzone.

Judy....I am glad you had such a great Birthday!!! The gifts and cards and nice dinner from Rick sounds very sweet.  

I am happy your mom is home. Tell her to have someone come in and turn the heat up. I am sure she is freezing!!

I felt so bad that I didn't get on OFF yesterday AM as planned. I wanted to post you a Happy Birthday. Oh well at least Vickie got it posted!!  I got on here so late yesterday. I didn't want you to think I forgot about you!! I was hurting so bad and my mind was very confused. 

Arlene....you are so sweet to all of us. So nice to see your post. For the life of me I cannot remember what you all posted. Like I told Judy...my mind is very confused today again! 

As for me..... Nothing happening...not a good day pain wise. Nic will be back from my exes later this afternoon sometime. 

I had Nic bring the rest of the boxes to me. I had accidentally left them at their house. There were only 4 smaller boxes. I was so happy!! I found my Bible!!!!! I thought it had accidentally been donated. I also found my dad's small Sunday Missal. I can remember him with that in his pocket ever Sunday going to church!

Jamie has my mom's prayer book's but I couldn't find dad's. If these are the only two things I find then I am very happy!!!

I did find a tote of all my "Country Western" things. I have so many T-shirts from all the great guys like Alan Jackson, George Straight, Reba, and Garth for some. I guess I will be donating them. I would rather someone for some wear out of them. I have four cowboy hats. Don't know what to do with those. I may see if some of my "Country" friends want them. The hats are in good shape. I gave three pairs of Cowboy Boots away.  I might as well get rid of the rest of it! So sad!

Anyone remember how long Jeannie is going to be gone?? Seems like she has been gone a long time!

It took me over almost an hour to write this little bit....slow going with my hands. They hurt and jerk and I am always going back to re-type.

Yesterday we went shopping and had a good time...bought Rick a flying pig just like his flying monkey...lol OMG what did I do?????? I also got him a beer belt for his beers...when he is outside cooking or whatever...lol great deal on both...total cost $13 plus tax. Now to find a couple other things for him for Christmas when he ISN'T with me!!!!! LOL

For my birthday Rick got me a couple shirts and new sheets for the bed. Needed sheets bad!!!! He also got me some candy...like I needed that!!! LOL And a beautiful card. We also went out for dinner the other night to Texas Roadhouse. YUMMMMMM!!!!!!!!

Mom is home from the hospital. Just talked to her. said he is cold and can't get warm. Told her TURN THE HEAT UP!!!!!! She said Bill did...I asked her to what? She said 75* SMH...she said she has on TWO robes and a blanket...WTH!!!! I would turn the heat up more!!!!!! **** on Bill!!!! He doesn't pay the dam bill!!!! Anyhow she said she was tired and didn't feel like talking...ok talk later...ok bye.

Trish...good thing you have no car right now....you need to REST!!!!!!!! Give that foot surgery time to heal up!!!!!!!!! Don't make Nurse Ratchett come out!!! LOL

Well time to find things to do here....got lots of it!!!

Trish, sorry you are in such pain after your surgery. It snowed there? I forgeI live in FL but we will be getting a cool front soon; temps down in the seventies.

Hope you heal well, Trish. And Judy, hope your birthday was great and glad your mom is home.

To all that will post soon I wish you love, may your trials be bearable and you pain be tolerable.

I have had a wicked headache from sinuses and didn't post for a couple of days.

I need dental work. Because of my phobia of dentists I did not go and now need dental work and possibly dentures. My fault, I know. I think the issue with the sinus and the sinus pain and the teeth are somewhat interconnected.

Well, head is throbbing so I am going to lie down. Sending blessings and love to all.

Good grief I forgot Tri**** sounds like you are being good and taking good care of yourself. You got quite a bit of snow. Jamie, in Iowa got about 12 inches. Nic got in it some on his way here but not too bad. MN was good for driving.

It is nice that your car was put in the garage. If you need to get to an appointment you won't be cleaning off your car. You probably don't have the okay to drive right now anyway! Take good care of yourself!!

Connie, I'm not allowed to drive for two months. The surgery is on my right foot. I think there are at least six incisions. Each is about two inches long, plus I have three pins sticking out of my toes. 

I bought plane tickets to go home to PA for Christmas.

Good Afternoon Ladies....

Got myself out today - went to church, and returned some books at the library drop-off box.  This is my second visit to this church, and I felt very comfortable, so I think I'll continue on there.

Well, looks like I've got some good Karma coming my way, and I'm so happy.  Someone I know from a group here at OH has volunteered to come to my place to do some work, accompanied by another member of the group.  He does carpentry/electrical/plumbing work, and she will be helping any way she can.  Maura is going to come over for the day too. So I have to make a list and prioritize what I'd like done most.  Will definitely get my outside lights fixed and an overhead light in the kitchen fixed too, and have him install the florescent bulb over my sink which I can't reach even with the step-stool I bought.  Maybe replace/fix doors - one door has a small window-sized hole in it, and two other doors don't close - if you use my bathroom you have to use the jug of laundry detergent or pail of cat litter to hold the door closed.  Also tub needs caulking.  I am thrilled about this.  For people who have never met me to come and help me is overwhelming to me.  I feel like Sally Field: "You like me, right now, you like me!"

Trish - Glad you're taking it easy after your surgery - you need to take care of yourself so you heal.

Judy - Happy you had a nice birthday, and glad your Mom is home from the hospital.

Arlene - I just had dental work done recently -- like you, I avoided the dentist for many years and my mouth always tasted funny.  But I'm so glad I went.  Even the two extractions were not bad.  Dental work has come a long way - not the horror it used to be.  Of course, I took some Xanax before each visit!!

Connie - I'm glad you're having a nice visit with Nic - I know he has a special place in your heart.  But I'm sorry you're still having such pain. Maybe Santa can bring you one of those computer programs that lets you 'talk' to the computer rather than type.  I think one program is called Dragon.  I don't know much about computers...some computers may already have such a program already installed when you buy it.  Do you have someone with computer knowledge that may be able to help you? It would really make a difference.
