Good Sunday morning

Vickie - Beautiful picture, so glad everyone got together for the special day.  
Connie - Sorry you're still not feeling well - praying for you to get relief.

My back and shoulders are sore.  Yesterday I went to Home Depot and picked up an electric drill, and necessary accessories so I could put up the wrought iron railing for my stairs.  Worked on it today - have to drill four holes in the cement and then screw the railing down.  Well, it's not easy drilling concrete - and the special screws the guy at Home Depot did not fit right - the head of the screws were too small.  So when I realized today the screws were wrong, I went to Aubuchons here in town for new screws.  They didn't have the right size, so I ended up getting some washers to use with the screws instead.  So the railing is up, but tomorrow I'm going to do some more drilling, because two of the four screws are not drilled in deep enough.  I'll have to go back to Aubochons again because I bent the drill bit and have to get another one.  So I'm sore, but feel proud of myself for do the job myself.

I also went to a new church today, and liked it very much.  They handle the Town's Food Bank, and also cook a dinner one or two times a month to feed the hungry.  Also have projects where they make kits of sleeping bags/blankets and pillows and personal care packs.... I'm thinking I'll do some volunteer work there.

Well, I've got to make dinner - I haven't eaten a thing all day - just some protein coffee and regular coffee.  I've got a small piece of steak marinating, and I'll slice up a cucumber on the side.

Hi Vickie and my OFF family:

Been busy with work so I haven't been able to post. I have a few minutes while I'm waiting for my pages to be designed. Vickie, that's a beautiful photo. Ask your doctor about flexeril or elavil ... I take both (although I have no problems with just about any drug). Both are prescribed for sleep problems. Elavil is an antidepressant that's often prescribed for sleep issues. I've been on it for a few years, although I'm on a very high dose now. Started lower, though. Flexeril is a muscle relaxant that can help with sleep. 

Work has been busy ... Fridays and Saturdays are a pain, and so this morning I woke up with just about everything hurting me. I won't go into details ... everyone has their own issues, you don't need to hear me whining all the time about my aches and pains. 

I did have one good thing happen yesterday. I hadn't gotten my security deposit sent back from the old landlord. So I called him last week and he apologized, saying he had been sick and would get it out right away. He said they took out $25 for some things that were broken, like the screen what'shisname broke when he broke in. OK, that's fine. So last night I got the check and it was for $500. Well, I think I paid $200 for my security deposit and $100 for a pet deposit to the first landlord (the good one) before these cheapos took over. I was so surprised. This guy thought I had paid a month's rent for a security deposit. He had no idea! Wow. 

Anyway, I should do some work. Hope everyone is good. I do try to read the posts even when I can't post.
