Rainy Thursday
Afternoon OFF family...well after seeing what others posted I forget what I wanted to say...LOL
Well anyhow we went out for dinner last night and had Mexican. YUMMM!!! Thanks to the Owner who bought our dinner!!! I had the Chicken Quesadias and Rick had the Talipia fish. After we ate we stopped in at Verizon and Rick got his phone looked at so he can get on FB...got to talking and we found out the guy that sold us our phones was fired for all the WRONG stuff he did to us and a few others. Glad he is gone. So anyhow Rick can now get on FB no problem now!!! She asked me if I wanted to and I said not yet...I have my PC...lucky I figured out how to answer it and find my voice mail...lol. Told her I would come back another time for that stuff. Like I said...Smart phone...Idiot on other end...sighs....... 
Tomorrow is tenant Bingo. Yippeee
Tonight 630-8 is Meet the candidates here at the community room on the other side...they told me they would put info out...LMAO!!!!!!!!!! 
They put one sign up in each club house LATE yesterday afternoon!!!!!!! Like how many are going to see that and know to come there tonight????? WASTE OF TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bet NOBODY COMES!!!!!!!!!!!! Wish I didn't have to be there!!! 
Temps are dropping here again and we had rain off and on today. YUCK!!!!!!!

I don't have much to say, except sometimes living with the ex from a long time ago makes me want to pull my hair out. We are retired and it is a senior low income apartment. I never ever in my life thought I would end up where I am, but I am here and need to make the best of it. I have pity parties for myself often.
The ex stays in bed all the time. He is overweight by at least eighty pounds. If I have to take him to wash his clothes, he huffs and puffs. He is not young. He is 70. His daughter has talked to him, I even asked him why he even bothers. His legs ache. Um, yea mine did too when I was very overweight. Oh well, his life, or his death. His decision.
I have told those here about my addiction to the chocolate mint protein bars I eat.Powercrunch Chocolate Mint. Well, I was walking in the shopping center to exchange my cable box. I got a good look at my a$$. Holy moley. I have had to gained 9 pounds since I stopped exercising and eating proteins. I would rather eat vegetables, I am not a meat eater. And I am not full for a long time as I was before. Be that as it may. I am so done with the protein bars and will eat clean from now on. My butt is starting to look like the backside of a barn.
Aw, Arlene, we all are places we didn't expect. Five years ago, I thought I would finish out my career up in Michigan; that didn't work out and I don't know what's going to happen to me when the new company takes over next year. My brother never expected to move in with me, but we are making the best of it. (Actually, so far it has been a good situation.)
As for the Power Crunch bars, yeah, they can be addicting. I would much rather eat cheese and meat than vegetables and exercise sometimes is hard for me to do. But we all do the best we can. That's why we're here, to help each other out. Don't beat yourself up. One day at a time. If you don't do well today, try again tomorrow.
Hello Vickie...I am just popping in for a little while.
I was miserable and my body made me sleep...3 hours!! I felt better when I woke. My arm is sore and swollen but I am no longer nauseous. I am sure tomorrow I will be fine!
I did see the pic on Facebook with the taped money. It looked good to me. I am sure you can get it exchanged. That naughty Maybelle!! She sure is cute!!!
