The fall color is amazing here in Michigan!

Carla
Good morning Carla and everyone.....
I am glad you are on the road once again. I am sure your dog was happy to see you!!
I hope you have a safe trip...especially with Carl driving...LOL!!
As for me..... I woke up with the same headache I have had the last few days. It isn't too bad. It is more annoying then anything. I am not planning much for today. My day yesterday was hecti****il I finally got to bed.
I am not sure how much I will be on the computer tomorrow with all that nasty prep and all. Thursday is the colonoscopy and I don't think I will be on much then either. Know that I love you all and am keeping you in my prayers.
Prayers for our special OFF Family and their families. Special prayers for those in need....like Judy and her mother....Mary and Vickie...
I wish you all a beautiful day!!!!! God Bless.
Loads of love and bunches of hugs....connie d
Good Morning Carla & OFF Family!
Carla, glad you were released from the doctor and are on your way home! I know you will miss Vinny like crazy, but it is always nice to be in your own bed! I know you will find plenty to do in Florida since you cannot sit still...lol! Safe travels!
I have been keeping up with the boards, but geez...eating is taking all my time! And despite feeling pretty good and taking short walks I still need my afternoon naps! I saw my surgeon this morning and lost 8 pounds since surgery...a total of 84 altogether. And still my stretch pants fit...lol! I continue to put in job applications...a real pain since everything is now online. But at least I am getting some in!
I am going to have problems responding to what everyone has been doing, but I will try...
Cindy P. -glad you went to sleep doctor and seemed to get some useful information to help you! I feel bad for your husband having constant migraines.
Mary - you looked marvelous in your FB photo at the wedding. I hope you can upload it as your profile picture! Are you the only girl in your family? WOW...4 brothers...I had 3!
Connie - I am hoping your family finds a place for you near them before we get too far into winter. You need the closeness of family! I pray for you every night as it seems your pain is getting worse which only adds to the depression. Enjoy your programs and movies...The Walking Dead...yikes!
Vickie - your sewing and creative talent continues to amaze me! I loved the bears, newborn bed...what a cute idea! and the memory pillows! Pita is going to be one very lucky little girl! I hope you are making progress on the lake house with Butch's family to help you...the sooner that is done the better. Less stress!
Cindi B. - I was tickled to get to see you in person...on Facebook! It sounds like you have not missed a beat in relocating and hooking up with old friends and interests. A belated Happy Birthday, and how nice your friends had a party for you!
Eileen - you seem to be having a big increase in pain lately! I hope they are able to get it under control. It doesn't sound like you've been able to get to the Y lately and I know you enjoyed that a great deal. The good thing is your brother is with you so you have the security of knowing family is there to look out for you.
Judy - always drama at your funny farm...lol and always talk or pictures of great food on your FB posts! I would seriously have to go off on some of those tenants...how frustrating to have to deal with BS on an almost daily basis! But you do it well!
Not hearing much from Trish...I know her foot was of concern. I love it when Arlene, Yvonne and Jen pop in!
I am going to sign off and get something to eat.
Have a good day, ladies!
Kathy
Good morning my sweet sistas,
Only have a moment to pop in. On my way to the lake house today. My BIL, and two of my SILs are meeting me there this afternoon. We are sorting through the outside stuff today. Oh my. Butch had so much stuff! I need my BIL to tell me what is valuable and what is junk.
I have the junk removal people scheduled to come Thursday afternoon. Oh my again. Can I really be doing this? I just need to get this behind me!
I would rather be sewing today, but I must push through while I have some help.
Love you all!
Thinking of you, sweet Vicki as you clean out the lake house. I know it has to be difficult.
You are one talented lady! I used to sew clothes back in the late 80s but not quilts and cushions and curtains. Wow! Do you just measure and think of a way to make the items, as far as the seat cushions go? I would need a pattern.
I am such a perfectionist when it comes to sewing. The worst thing anyone could have said to me when I sewed my clothes was, "Did you make that yourself?"
Sending love and prayers to you and all the rest of the gang.
Greeting Carla and OFF,
I seem to be hit and miss lately. I've been crazy busy between appointments, projects getting my house in order, and crocheting. I hope to be more consistent soon.
Yesterday, my I went to the nurse at my hematologist's. Then, my friend came over, and helped me move my two chairs in the living room. I thought we were done last week, but I realized my rocker with the ottoman needed to be switched with the arm chair. Now, I can look out the window to see the bird feeder, and driveway, for when people come to give me rides, for after surgery when I can't drive. Then, we did some light yard work. Raking, and stuff like that. Then, last night, we had a meeting for the American Cancer Society.
Today, Colleen took me with her to the library for a craft time with Frankie. He decorated a pumpkin, and it is adorable. He and I also put together two puzzles. He loves puzzles.
Now that I'm home, I have to get the dishes done, and then prepare my lesson for tomorrow night. I also have to catch up on my Bible study. We are reading an awesome book called "Heaven" by Randy Alcorn. It is so interesting. I highly recommend it.
Judy, thank you for the information about chiropractic and sinuses. I'm going to find out my benefits and find someone who can help me. I'm not sure what Medicare covers.
Must get back to work.
Hugs,
Trish

Good afternoon Carla and OFF-
Safe travels Carla. I know you will be happy to get home to your home.
Connie thinking of you while you prep. I'm due for a colonoscopy this year too. Gotta go to clinic so they will refer me. Also gotta go to the clinic for my shingles vaccination.
Trish what fun to enjoy your Munchkins for Halloween. I'm decorating this year for the first time in years. I decorated milk jugs as ghosts and bought electric tea lights to light them up. No outlet on my front porch.
Vickie thinking of you as you sort thru the outside stuff. Know it's hard but it will be over soon and the house can be on the market.
Kathy happy to read about you additional loss. That's wonderful. Anesthesia is sometimes hard to recover from so afternoon naps are okay for a while. Keep up the walking. Maybe there is a Y nearby that has a pool that you can get into.
more boxes unpacked today. Dining room is unpacked and put away or in dish washer. I have a wall cabinet to hang but otherwise the dining room is done. Just have to unpack the Tupperware and sort through it. The garage sale boxes are getting full. Fortunately the dump is open six days a week so I can take the boxes to the dump on a daily basis.
thinking about going to the Houston quilt festival. Supposed to have over 1100 vendors and 1500 quilts on display. Some of my cousins coworkers are down here this week to attend the classes that are linked to the festival.
That's all for Texas Cindi today. Eileen I hope your epidural helps this time. Judy hope the crazies do drive you crazy! Still sending your Mom positive vibes. Hugs and thoughts to all of you!
