Good afternoon Vickie and OFF-
Soggy Sunday describes the day beautifully. We had rain which is desperately needed but not enough to cause flooding in my area of Houston. Southwest Houston is another matter lots of rain and tornado watches.
Ive been binge watching Orange Is The New Black most of the week. My friend came over and we did a bit of unpacking of the China and crystal. I did more boxes yesterday and found my silverware so now I can cook things that can be eaten with something more than a plastic fork. Lots to do still but I'm trying to not get overwhelmed.
Two of my friends and I bought season tickets to Broadway at Hobby Center. Tonight we go to our first show, Pippen. I have no clothes that fit so I'm stuffing myself into to clothes for tonight with a mental note to buy some nice clothes to wear for these types of events. Should have kept my fat clothes!
i counted birds on Friday. Nice to drive around the Refuge and get reacquainted. Definately needed the rain. Also got the bonus of a cattle drive, they were moving cattle onto the refuge for winter grazing.
Well that's all for me today. Hugs and thoughts to all of you!

Hi Ladies,
I came to the library today so I could read and post a note. The weather is lovely today. I will be having my friend over for supper tonight. I making spaghetti squash with spaghetti sauce and hamburger and garlic bread. I have a few more days of walking outside this week then it probably be inside exercise. I will go to Sam's Club tomorrow to pick up my usual shopping list. Otherwise I dont have anything planned for the rest of the week.
Vickie the quilt is beautiful. I wish I had some of your talent.
Judy praying for you and your mom.
Connie it was nice chatting with you on facebook the other night. Hope you are doing well today.
Thoughts and prayers for everyone.
Love and Hugs,
Yvonne
Good morning Vickie and everyone....
Vickie...I too was thinking the door was ajar...glad that wasn't it!!
The Pita quilt is so lovely and snuggly!! She will keep it forever!!
I am glad the rain didn't hurt your area but, I too am worried about Cindi. I hope she managed to stay safe and dry.
I am not sure what the Pro Joe is....I will look it up on their site. I haven't been on there in a long time.
As for me.... Nothing much. Like most of us it is dark, cloudy, and rainy. I am spending the day in watching Netflix and resting. I hope to nap at some point as I had a restless night.
Prayers for our precious OFF Family and their families. Special prayers for those as needed.
I will stop back a little later and see if anyone else posts. I am not up to posting replies but I have read all the posts.
I love you all ..hugs ....connie d
Good Evening Vickie and OFF,
I spent most of today with Colleen and her gang. Izzy had a soccer game this morning, and it was about a half hour north of here. Then, we went straight from there, coz Lincoln had a football game a half hour south of here. Thank God there was an interstate between the two games, because when we left Izzy's soccer game, we only had 45 minutes to get Lincoln to his game. Most of the roads, except the interstates, are two lane, country roads, with Sunday drivers.
Since I've been home, I've been watching football, and checking airline tickets, to get me back to Pennsylvania. I forgot that Colleen and Trent sometimes don't just go back and forth from home to here. They often go to Maine, since the kids have two weeks off. Their best friends from here, and the couple that introduced them, Trent's cousin and his wife, both pastor at a church that Trent's uncle retired from pastoring. Uncle Stan married Colleen and Trent.
I am exhausted from all the fresh air today. It was gorgeous here. Perfect Fall day.
Must scoot.
Love,
Trish
