Hi Connie and my OFF family:

Hope your prep goes OK. I know it's a pain. The first one I had, I had just heated up some chicken broth when I had to run to the toilet. When I got back, my cat Kittle was lapping at my cup of broth. Hey, that was my dinner!

Well, the site where the nurse put the IV yesterday swelled up and bruised something horrible last night. I had ice on it all night and it went down some but it's still pretty swollen and bruised. So far, the back is OK. Went to the Y this morning and did the AquaMoves class. A little more challenging than the arthritis class.

The World Series game went 14 innings ... I stayed up and watched the whole thing. The newspaper wound up going with a feature instead of the game story because the game wasn't over. Glad I wasn't working because I would have been pissed waiting for it.

Anyway, hope everyone is having a good day. Making Waikiki meatballs for dinner tonight as soon as the hamburger thaws.

Hello Eileen....that is funny about your cat drinking your chicken broth!! I hope you had more for yourself. I really don't mind drinking broth...chicken is my favorite.

That nurse must have done something wrong for you to be so bruised and swollen. They usually hardly show at all.

Okay...what is Waikiki meatballs...they must have pineapple as one ingredient.

Yes, it has pineapple, green peppers, and a sweet/sour sauce. Gary helped me this time. He put the meatballs in the oven instead of trying them. Then I made the sauce and fried rice. It was good. Old Betty Crocker recipe, but I was able to find it online again.

Afternoon OFF family....well yesterday I had my meeting with the Auxilary VFW and guess what I am now? One Year Trustee plus being Guard. (still won't give me a gun!!! Damit!! ) Anyhow that is nice...yippee. Like I really wanted another officer position.... But someone had to do it.

Got one more moved out today...the one that passed away...family sure left a mess in there!!! Then tomorrow is another one to move out. Then in November I will have two more moving out...one we can't wait til she gets out!!!!!!! The other was a shock she is leaving...but she needs a two bedroom as she is getting custody of her grandson and needs another bedroom for him or they won't let her have him. I do have people applying for apartments but they are bad credit or have criminal backgrounds!!! SIGHS!!!!!!!

Nothing new on mom yet...still waiting to hear from her doctors. Keep those prayers going for her. Thank you so much!!!

Had a lot of rain and wind overnight...LOTS of roof leaks...OMG!!!!!!! One guy called before 7am said it was pouring in by his front door...guys went over and sure enough!!!!! And that side had NEW roofs couple years ago!!!!!!!! That company really did NOT do a good job at all!!!!!!! Lets say HALF ASSED!!!!!!!!! My club house/office building has three leaks and the guys went up and saw daylight in three areas!!!!!! Rotted wood BIG TIME!!!! Matter of time before roof comes in I guess...sent email to boss...its in their hands now. They don't care neither do we.

When I had mine done a few years ago it went good...never got far from bathroom that's for sure!!! When in recovery room...paging Dr ****salot!!!!! Serious!!!!!!!!!! Good luck getting all the messes taken care of that your renters leave behind. I guess they all have tons of money and don't care if they get their deposits back. Is there any people that rent in that town that are honest, don't have bad credit, or criminal backgrounds?

Still praying for your mom. I hope she is okay. When is her surgery?

I hope you can get the contractors back there to finish the jobs they messed up with. There must be a warranty for the work they did....or didn't do!!

Oh my...Dr ****salot!!! I would have ben rocking on the floor laughing!! No I am not far from the bathroom...UGH. Now I need to go and drink that 32 ounce nasty drink!!! Another in the morning!!!

The snow is now sticking....cars are covered and also most of the lawn!!!!!!!!!!!
