Hi Kathy...you make me laugh too...junk in the truck...LOL!!!

No , nothing new on the move. I decided I won't move before late Spring at the very earliest. Amanda is looking around at places. I need to call and see how long a waiting list they have.

I am doing okay just achy and sore. I just took a Sudafed as my noses keeps running. I pray I am not catching a cold! My new inhalers and albuterol for my Nebulizer should be here for tomorrow. I didn't realize mine were expired until I was at the doctor yesterday. Now I will be all ready for winter.

I know I do too much whining about my pain. I am going to try to quit doing that. Everyone knows I have pain every day. If I am not here that is the reason why.

That Halloween trail sounds wonderful!! I love those kinds of places. I haven't been to one in a couple years. I love all the costumes and dressing up!! Have fun....even from the car...watch out for Ghouls!! Keep those doors locked!!

Kathy, sounds like you are recovering well, even managing the long walk to/from the bleachers....I couldn't do much first 2 weeks, just walked the corridors in my condo building as was winter snow outside,and couldn't Mall walk as not allowed to drive for 2 weeks...You're doing really well.

Here I am Ladies!

Went to the dentist yesterday and had the second tooth pulled - it was bad, but not horrible. Partly because I "medicated" myself before the appointment - and I think I overdid it! So the pulling is done, but my mind was befuddled afterwards. I went home and packed up some things for my neighbor....delivered the goods and as we were sitting talking I jumped up and said OMG, I'm going to be late for the dentist!! Then I looked at the clock and it was 5:00 (my appt. was 2:30) and I realized I had already gone. Then this morning I remembered the dentist gave me two prescriptions and I couldn't find them - turns out I had dropped them off on my way home yesterday.....no memory of doing that. I have to be more careful in the future - it's just I was so convinced the tooth pulling was going to be excruciating.....and it wasn't.

Went to the bank for funds for the wedding gift and hotel -- expensive! Also had to pick up a pair of pantyhose. I haven't "dressed up" in ages....I actually have to wear pantyhose and dress shoes.

Maura and Taylor are coming over tonight. Tomorrow we'll drop Taylor off at my friend's house, and Maura and I will go down to NY for my niece's wedding, and then spend the night at a Holiday Inn by the reception hall, coming home Sunday morning.

So, a busy few days to look forward to. And thankfully, Maura will be doing most of the driving so that will be a nice change for me. I never get to sit in a passenger seat!

Vickie - glad things are working out at the lake house - a huge weight lifted from your shoulders!

Connie - I wish things would improve for you healthwise....you've been in such pain for a long time. I'm saying some extra prayers for you.

Jen - it's amazing how fast time flies....Christmas ads already!!

Kathy - Glad you're feeling better, but don't push yourself too much!

Hello Mary....I am so happy for you!! I know how much you are looking forward to this weekend. I am sure you will have a wonderful time!!! It will be a nice get away for you both.

I hope someone can get a nice picture of you and Maura together!! Have a blast!!! Panty hose...I haven't worn them in years. I always was tan all year long and never wore them. One of these days I may have to get dressed up and will have to wear them too!! I am are you will be beautiful!!

The shrimp stew recipe sounds good. I may have to try it. Depends on how I feel like cooking. No more money this week to buy ingredients. I have $20 to my name til payday. But I have food in the house, gas in the car, electric is paid, rent is paid, cable is paid, so all is good.

I'm still feeling miserable, though. Whole body hurts and I'm extremely tired. No matter how much I sleep, I'm still dragging. I'm at work, though. Trying hard to concentrate. Enough caffeine and I'm OK. Just my body that hurts. I think we're getting rain here, too. Had a headache for awhile but after a vicodin and an Imitrex, that's gone. Now I just want to sleep.

Connie, I hope you're feeling better. Vickie, I hope you got your money back. I don't think any pet of mine has done that. Kittle, my first cat, once stole my pen in the middle of a phone interview. He took it down to the basement crawl space and buried it. I wasn't paying attention to him. Kittle was a character and a half. Big gray tabby with green eyes and a Siamese voice.

Well, enough of me. I'm just taking a break from work before I tackle my Sunday advance stuff. Have a good night.

When I drag in at the end, I really drag in at the end...but yesterday was the day from busy hell for me. I didn't stop until midnight...between work and going to get the kids and taking the kids out to eat and making sure we are eating at a place DH and I can eat and then explaining to the kids that just because we aren't eating beef, chicken, or pork, doesn't mean they have to give it up and then helping them pick out something non mammalian...it was trying. What we found out is that the boy doesn't like the fish as much as he likes the beef and the girl doesn't like either and was happy to have a bunch of vegetables...I'm sure the waitress hated us by the time we left.

We are expecting thunder storms and heavy rain all weekend, which will knock all the fall leaves off of the trees...maybe it will wash some of the oak mold out of the air too and I can breathe again
