Sunday,SundaySunday what a fun day!!!
Hello Mary....we are all already sick of the cold. It is going to get much worse before it gets better!!!
I need to go out and buy some boots soon. I donated my other pair. I have lots of boots but all of them have high heels as most of my shoes do too. I guess I need flat ones for now. That makes me sad. I have worn high heels all my life!!
I hope you have a wonderful time at the wedding next weekend. I like that you and Maura will have time alone together.
I hope you had a nice weekend!!
I am still praying for you every day. Are you feeling better? I know you were having some serious depression.
Lots of love and many hugs......connie d
Good Eevening Carla and OFF,
Like the rest of the gang, steer clear of your brother. You don't need all that emotional baggage right now. I'll be praying for him though.
Well girls, I made a tough decision last night, and stepped down from being in charge of the Nursery program at church. Someone who was scheduled this morning told my friend she wouldn't be at church, and instead of telling this woman to find a sub, my friend offered to find someone. Well, I was not happy with either woman for that. Neither of us could find a sub, and in the past, I would just fill in, but with my foot in constant pain, and wearing the God-awful boot, I know I don't belong in the infant room. Too dangerous. Well, I posted about the need on the church's Facebook page, and right away, Colleen called yelling at me. She told me to close nursery if nobody volunteers. I told her I would. She also told me that I was being used, which in a way she's right. I stepped up because of huge gaps in the schedule. Colleen said that if there are crying babies in the service, people will volunteer. I've been doing the job alone since I started, coz my partner was never available to help on Sundays. She was either working, or singing up front with the worship team. Well, she and her family started attending another church back in June. So, I messaged one of the deacons, and told him I was stepping down after today.
This afternoon, Izzy had a soccer game. She finally played like her Mom played. Before she was too timid. Today, she really went after the ball.
I have to shut the puter off.
Love,
Trish
