Carla...sorry you had a rough night's sleep. Sweet of Vinnie to take care of you today!! What a smart little one! Glad you are about to stand up today...that is a step in the right direction!!
I am so sorry your brother is in such poor medical shape. I will pray that his surgery goes well. I totally understand why you don't feel the need go see him. It seems he has burned a lot of bridges along the way. If you decide to stop and see him on your way home I hope he appreciates it.
As for me.... I am doing good today. I have been sitting in my glider rocker enjoying the sun shining on me. I said my prayers and did my readings. I feel calm and refreshed.
Nothing much planned today. I will be out walking as it will be in the upper 60s. That will feel so good!
I spoke with Carrie last night. She hurt her shoulder awhile back. She finally went in to get it checked out. She went through some PT and that hasn't helped at all. Now she will be getting an MRI done. They think she tore a tendon. I hope it isn't a torn rotator cuff.
Kyleigh and Mitch, Amanda and Tyler and Lucas will be going to Carrie's this coming Saturday to carve pumpkins and have dinner together. They may spend the night too. I wish I could join them.
Prayers for our sweet OFF Family and their families. Special prayers for those in need.

Glad to hear you're doing better. I agree with the others, stay clear of Atlanta. I fortunately get along with my siblings but don't know if I'd go out of my way for my sister. Although she has been better to my mom since mom's been in the assisted living center.
I'd be up for a get-together in the mountains but I'm not a sewer. I'd just be there to hang around. Maybe someone could teach me to crochet. I could cook, fill the wine glasses, make coffee, etc. Oh wait, no vacation time left this year. Maybe next year.
Last night wasn't too bad at work. Just a couple of late stories to punch into the holes and I got done at 11:30 p.m., which is deadline.
It's a beautiful fall day here, although 54 degrees. Need to get into the shower and think about lunch. Really tired and want to nap. Still finishing my second cup of coffee.
Oh well, hope everyone has a good day. Enjoy your sewing, Vickie. Glad you had a fairly good garage sale. Don't remember anything else. Fibro fog... my mind really is in the fog today. I know everyone is discussing making diapers today.

I agree a get-together would be fun. I know I couldn't be there. I don't sew and I sure couldn't walk around rock hunting using my walker. I am such a dud!
It is now 63 degrees. I just am finishing my lunch. I need to get outside!!

If we get together, you must come. Sewing is one thing but we could sit and drink a cup of something and watch the sun set or jump in the hot tub or just sit and talk...wouldn't that be so much fun? If we do the cabin, three or four of us to a cabin would mean that we could share the cost of the cabin and it would be dirt cheap....I'd bring our food and we could just drive around and look at stuff...who needs to hike.

Well Bingo last night was CHANCES...EVERY game!!!!!! No winners!!!! DAMIT!!!!! Oh well...no Bingo next week because they will be having a benefit there for a guy that passed away and family needs help to pay for his funeral expenses.
Made Rick's Bday cake today...He loves it!!! LOL Was talking to my mom when he tried a piece. So now she wants the recipe for it. LOL
Making Baby back ribs in the oven today. Rick didn't feel like cooking on the grill today. Watching football. Speaking of football...what a game yesterday for UofM and MSU!!! WOOOHOOO MSU WON!!!!!!!!! Then Ohio State also WON...AGAIN!!!!!!! Still hope they beat UofM!!!!!! LOL
Weather is still COLD here!!! BRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!! Had a killing frost/freeze last night here. Flowers are done now. Poor things. Leaves will be really turning and falling now.
Carla...I agree with the rest of them...I would also stay away from your brother. If he has caused you grief in the past he will again I am sure. You need to take care of YOU right now anyhow.
Vic...I was going to say the same thing about your daughter being sick so much...baby must have ALOT of hair. Also has she tried eating some soda crackers to see if they helped her with being sick?
Well time for me to get my butt off this PC and work on my Ohio State afghan!!! I only have 3 rows done so far and I should be a lot further along!!!
Walking Dead is on tonight!! Last week it was on for an hour and a half...one part of it actually made me scream out...LMAOOOOOOOOO Love that show!!!!

Weather changed fast here...cold too! The temp dropped 10 degrees in a very short time. Not good for me. 
The two beautiful trees in front of my apartment are almost bare now.

Carla - I'm with you - I'd stay away from Atlanta! Next weekend I'm going to NY for a niece's wedding. I'll probably be sitting at a table with my youngest brother and his wife -- we had a falling out years ago. I was down in NY with Maura and her boyfriend and they invited us to stay at their place. Well, Maura's boyfriend was a jerk and took some things from their son. He told me they were given to him - later find out from my brother that he just took them. Brother was pissed - which I can understand, but we talked about it and although he was pissed at Maura and her a$$hole boyfriend, he said he would not hold it against me and I'd always be welcome. Then a few months later, they were having a graduation party for one of their sons -- big affair, written invitations sent out to everyone -- except me. Guess he changed his mind about me being welcome.
Vickie - So glad you have the garage sale over and done with. So funny about the tables - you naughty lady!
Cindi - I'm addicted to Netflix too. I love going on "binges" where I come across a series I haven't seen and can sit and watch all the seasons at once.
Connie - So glad you're having a good day. It got so cold last night - I took in my mums from the front steps so they wouldn't be shocked from the cold. We're having a cold snap, but it's expected to warm up again. I am not looking forward to winter. I do have a neighbor who will plow my driveway, but I still will have to shovel the steps and around my car. I'd like to ask Maura's boyfriend to find me a used snowblower on Craig's list - but it would have to be a cheap one - and I don't know how pro-active he would be as he hasn't done anything about the motorcycle yet.

Not much going on here - it's cold out and I'm trying to keep the heat turned down so I don't use up the oil. Time for the blankets to come out!!
