It is late and I have no idea where everyone is.

I am not going anywhere today. The temp is 43 with a high of 46. At least the sun is shining!!!

I have nothing that needs to be done today. I guess it will just be the usual for me. My thumbs are okay so I am going to color some...I have been missing it.

I am praying for all our loving OFF Family and their families. Special prayers as needed.

I pray Kathy is feeling well again today!!

Sounds like you're feeling well today - that's good! Enjoy your coloring. When Maura was young, I would often take some of her coloring books to color...it really was relaxing.

I went to the dentist ... supposed to have my second tooth extracted...but turns out it's infected so I have to take antibodies for five days, so now I'm rescheduled for next Thursday. Monday I get a filling done. Then I'll be all done, which fills me with happiness! LOL!

I was going to do some yard work, but it's cold and rainy and windy. So, I'll do something inside instead. Maybe I'll take out the sewing machine and try it out... I watch Project Runway, and it makes me want to sew something. Not that I'm that great...I used to make jumpers and skirts and pants...but very basic stufff - no sleeves, zippers were always hard, etc. But my biggest challenge would be selecting the fabric. I am very bad about decisions. One good thing about being SMO was that clothing selection was easy .... black or blue pants, and one type of top that I would get in several different colors. When I go to Salvation Army, there are so many choices now!

Hello Mary...so nice to see your post.

I am feeling somewhat better. I did get a little coloring done. Then I had to stop because of my sore thumbs. This coloring is done with special coloring books and colored pencils. I used to color with regular coloring books and crayons. I love to color!! It is so relaxing!

I probably won't get the things we talked about until next week. I am so behind because of the bad week I had. I wish I could do things faster!! I will let you know when it is sent.

It is so much fun watching Project Runway!! I love that show! I am sure you have a great time shopping after the weight loss. I remember I sure did!!

I've had an insanely busy day. Frankie and I played all morning. Right after that, I tried to get something done on my car, but the wait would have made me miss my MRI appointment. After I got that done, I was too wiped out to go back for the car. My foot is killing me, and my sinuses are hurting. It's not a regular sinus pain.

Colleen invited me to go with them tomorrow for Boo at the Zoo. That's where kids trick or treat at the zoo, and volunteers hand out candy. There are also a lot of kid activities. But, I told her I wouldn't be able to keep up with them, coz of the boot I must wear. Plus, I'm going to a huge craft fair in the morning.

Must scoot.

Hello Trish....my dear friend...when are you going to rest that foot. You shouldn't be going to a craft fair. You never give yourself time to heal properly. Just my opinion.

When will you get the report from the MRI?

Trish -- Those boots are horrible. I had to wear one a few times for my achilles tendonitis. When I was still working, I had to wear it and I'd be hobbling along, with the boot and crutches, feeling miserable. Meanwhile, I see one of the younger guys zipping along in his. I actually had to take a leave from work because I was at my highest weight and just could not handle the boot because I'd have to get up and down, go to the copier, go talk to my supervisor, etc., etc., etc. All my problems started with the achilles tendonitis - everything went downhill from there!

Hello my lovelies!

I am so darn tired, my eyes are closing. But we are almost ready for the sale tomorrow. I'm going to get up at 5:30 a.m. and finish up, but we made a huge dent in it today.

Mom was here by herself this morning and she let some Mexicans shop "early" and they bought $100 worth of stuff. And she turned quite a few others away. I TOLD her not to let early shoppers in, but she did. They plowed through everything. Nothing was out on display yet, and boy did they make a mess. So she learned her lesson as we had to reorganize everything. But they did buy stuff.

Also, we sold that big sofa today!!! Now if the washer and dryer will just sell tomorrow...

The reason Mom was here alone was because I was out at the lake house meeting with my realtor, Jenny. I cried, of course. I cry every time I go out there. But we did a walk through and she seemed pretty positive about selling it. She asked me what I needed, and I told her after I pay off the mortgage, I need to come out of it with $40K cash and she says that's not unrealistic. I need that money to live on next year. She was stunned when I told her I'm not getting any of Butch's social security! I told her I have FOUR houses AND a farm and I have NO INCOME. This is nuts. She's a good person. I believe she'll do her best for me.

So, over the next two weeks, I'm going to do my best to clean out the shed and porch and sort through the junk. Butch's family is coming to help. I need my BILs to tell me what's worth keeping and what's not. I have the number of a junk man who will come and haul off junk. I don't know what he charges. Then I can clean the house, have the yard mowed, and Jenny can put it on the market. I sure do need to get out from under it soon.

Well, my little boys are tired, I'm tired, and I'm hoping Mike or Christie show up soon. Mom has already gone to bed. Carrie is coloring with Benny, and I'm chasing Budder around. I will talk to y'all tomorrow evening after the sale.

I am so glad the sale is about ready to start. Too bad your mom let the people in early. Oh well at least you made money off it!! I am happy the couch sold!! I am praying the washer and dryer sell tomorrow.

I am glad that you have a good realtor working with you. I hope the lake home sells quickly. I am glad Butch's family will be there to help clear out the garage and shed and such. They will be a big help.

I hope Christie and Mike came for the boys early rather then late!
