Up Early Wednesday--too much on my mind to sleep!

Well, ladies, I have unpacked stuff and marked prices until I am blue in the face! And I still am not completely done! But I should be able to finish up tomorrow morning. My mom and I have So. Much. Stuff. OMG. How did we ever collect so much stuff?

I finally got too hot and tired to do anymore in the garage, so I came in, took a shower, and I've been hot on the trail of on-line advertising all evening. I've placed ads everywhere I could find: Craig's List, GSALR.com, all of the area on-line garage sales on FB, etc. The city will only let me post TWO signs, one of which MUST be in my yard. Really? Like they can't tell which house has the garage sale? But oh, well. Besides that, they charge me $22 for the permit! Robbery!

My biggest issue now is how to display all the stuff. Mom and I just unpacked it all, priced it, and piled it all back in the boxes. We have 2 card tables, plus I have one more table out at the lake house I can bring here, but we have WAAAY more stuff than those three little tables can hold! So I called a party rental place and discovered they get $10 for one night for each card table. Between the permit and the table rentals, I'm seeing all my profits go up in smoke.

I still have those big wardrobe boxes from the move. I'm thinking about assembling them, laying them sideways, and displaying stuff on those. Not very tall, but it's better than laying stuff on the ground. And I can lay them end to end all up and down the driveway and even in the front yard if I need to.

Or I could go to Wal Mart, buy some tables, use them, and then return them to Wal Mart! SHUT UP! I did NOT just say that!

Oh, and we just sold Mom's sofa! Hurray! Isn't it funny how people always want to be first in line once you set up a sale. A lady just claimed the sofa and is coming "early" to get it on Friday, before the sale starts. And she would like to "look around" while she is here. Fine by me. As long as she takes that blasted sofa out of my garage!

Carrie is going to drive down on Friday to help out. She won't be here quite soon enough to pick up Benny from early release at noon, but that's okay. He can entertain himself while Mom and I set up. And she will go pick up Budder at 6 and keep both the boys Friday evening for me! Plus, she'll be here to help with Mom on Saturday. Have I mentioned how much I love my daughter!?

So I hope by this time Saturday evening, I have sold almost all of this stuff and can finally park my car in the garage! LOL! I don't even care if I make any money. I just want all this stuff GONE! (But I should make a few hundred dollars, and so should Mom.)

Well, it's time to settle down and watch the evening news. Good news from Carla on FB. They were able to get all the mesh out. She's staying overnight and should be able to go home tomorrow. Has anyone heard from Kathy?

Here I am dragging up the rear, again. Well, today has been busy and I am glad it ended. Tomorrow we go back to get DH's stitches out of his eye and he will get a good check up on how well the body is taking the new cornea.

We have been on pescatarian diet fully for four days and I have to say it hasn't bothered me at all because I love fish. I want to drop the fish from my diet after a few months but DH says he has to have meat so the fish will do.

We took a walk this evening and DH did pretty good. I have to say he has done so much better this time than last.
