Hi Trish and my OFF family:
Baseball is on and I'm happy. Trish, the pix of the kids are so cute.
Carla, good luck with the surgery.
Today is my Friday. It's warm enough here ... supposed to be in the 80s today and then cool down a bit the next couple days. Beautiful autumn days. My brother has finished decorating and the apartment looks very cute. He stayed up so I could see it all lit up when I came home.
Wanted to get up at 8 and go to the Y but couldn't get up ... just too tired. Tomorrow for sure. As it is, after being up a couple hours I'm ready for a nap.
Not much else going on. Back to work tonight. Hopefully, it'll be peaceful. Have a good day.
Hello EILEEN...I am sure your apartment looks really great. Can you rake any pictures for us....I would love to see some. Even if you just send me a couple from your phone to mine. PLEASE!!!
I am glad you slept in. You have been so tired lately. You can get to the Y a couple other days this week.
I hope tonight goes well at work. How has your pain been? You haven't said much other then you are so fatigued.
Love you ...HUGS.....connie d
I know you meant Eileen. I will try to take photos tomorrow when he has it all lit up and I'm home in the evening.
Pain hasn't been bad. Last night it wasn't good at all at work. Lots of stabbing pains in my knees and spasms in my back. Took a vicodin and that seemed to calm things down. Today my hands are hurting me.
It started raining as I was going to work. So that explains a couple of things.
EILEEN.....I am on Vicodin and Flexural again...I can't think straight. Sorry I called you by the wrong name. I corrected it now.
I hate how this Fibro pain just jumps around!! It can be just about anywhere or it is everywhere at the same time!! My pain has gotten progressively worse as the day has gone by. Temps keep dropping and the rain keeps coming and going. The wind has been so loud and fierce. I couldn't even take a chance on being outside. I am sure the weather has a lot to do with your pain as well.
I really hope you don't get worse pain as the night goes on. I am glad the Vicodin has calmed the pain down some. Sorry your hands are worse.
I am sending prayers...more love and hugs....connie d
Hello Sistas!
TGIN! Thank God it's NAPTIME!!! Whew!
The boys really have been very good today. Well, Benny has been good. Budder has been a 2 year old! That includes screaming, biting, and just generally being naughty about 30% of the time. The rest of the time, he's a little doll.
I bought a new game for us to play. It's musical Hot Potato. Oh, my! Benny absolutely LOVES it! We toss the potato back and forth and whoever has the potato when the music stops, loses. I have lost count of how many times we have played that already today.
I'm waiting on the repair man to come this afternoon. He's coming to look at both my microwave and my dishwasher. Oh, the dishwasher? YES! I jinxed myself! Remember how I said I wish the dishwasher would break? IT DID! Or at least it started leaking. Geez. But it's not really broken, so I don't think the warranty will replace it.
So, to recap my weekend briefly, I took Chris and the boys out to breakfast and the zoo on Saturday. First thing that happened, before we even got to IHOP, was I got rear-ended! Some really ditzy little chick plowed right into me. Thankfully, I have that big trailer hitch on the back of my SUV and it kept her car from doing any damage to mine. Can't say the same about hers though! And you know what she said to me? "Gee, this is the second time this has happened to me." SMH!
Yesterday I worked on piecing the top of Pita's little quilt. I really really wanted to get that much finished. Now I have to put all of my sewing away for the next couple of weeks. I have too much to do this month. I need to have a garage sale. AND I need to finish getting the lakehouse ready to sell. I know I'll feel better emotionally if I can put those two things behind me.
Also, I have my handyman Sam coming at some point this week to take care of some things around the house. And at some point in the next two weeks the yard guys are coming to build my new flower beds. SO, lots going on right now.
Praying for our sista Kathy today! Kathy, honey, I hope your surgery was fast and easy! Now comes the GOOD part! We are here for you.
I want to address each of you, but my computer is making the most awful noise. When it starts, I just have to shut it off and leave it alone for awhile. I know it is going out on me. Anyway, it sounds like it is going to blow up, so I'd better close now.
Love you all!
Hello Vickie....That new game sounds really fun...I am glad the boys, especially Benny!!! They are such precious boys!!!
I can't believe the dishwasher went out...LOL...we were just joking about that!! Sorry it isn't covered any more. Oh well...now you will be all set for awhile.
You have a lot going on this week, your handyman and the yard guys. Plus you have been working on Pita's quilt. Selling the lake house...WOW! Also talking about a garage sale. I love garage sales and miss being able to go to them anymore. I wish I could be there to attend yours, we would have a blast. I always did great on my own sales!!
I hope all went well for Kathy too. I have been praying for her all day!
I love you much...HUGS.....connie d
Good Afternoon Ladies....
Thinking of Kathy - thinking if surgery started on time, she should be in recovery....she'll be so relieved it's finally over and she can begin the next phase.
Trish -- love, love, love the pictures -- what cutie pies!!
Connie -- Loved WD -- a bit confusing at times with the "back and forth" but I'm so glad it's back.
Arlene - Good for you for realizing five pounds is a sign to get back on track again - not easy, but do-able with determination.
Vickie - so many things to take care of, it seems to go on and on. Glad you're able to get people to help you. That's a problem I have...
Eileen - Sounds like things are working out okay with your brother. Nice to have someone there, but still have your independence too.
Carla - Hope your upper GI goes well tomorrow.
Judy - You certainly do not lead a boring life -- between your job, your family and Rick's family, things are always hopping!!

I'm having a quiet day today. Wednesday I take my friend Shirley to pick up her car - it's at her brother-in-law's house an hour away. It will be a nice ride though and I'll enjoy seeing the autumn leaves...they are beautiful this year. Thursday another dentist appointment - second tooth will be pulled, and then next week he'll do a filling of a cavity.
Hope everyone has a good day...
Mary
Hello Mary...I am having a quiet day too. Just resting up.

Another dentist appointment Thursday huh? Well that is the last tooth to be pulled. I am sure you will be glad of that!!
It is so nice of you to take your friend to pick up her car Wednesday. You are always so kind to everyone!!
I am here if you need me....love you...hugs...connie d
