Sunday Blessings
Afternoon OFF family...
Well it has been one hell of a week here at the Funny Farm!!! GRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!! I swear if I could lock these people up I sure would!!! Some need padded rooms that's for sure!!! Flea lady and her sister BOTH need rooms...Both refused Terminix this week again!!!!! Both said neither of them have fleas!!!!! OMG!!!!!!! Then they called the police on me...landlord situation...well police came and talked only to them...left said it was a civil matter...guess they thought it was stupid or something else..no report taken. The day Terminix was here one called the squad AGAIN...refused treatment...AGAIN!!!!!!! Other tenants are having fits over both of them and their fleas and their mouths flapping. My boss came to empty the laundry machines and talked to several tenants and they told her how upset they are over these two...she agreed with them all. WE are also upset over them. Finally found one of the sons and spoke to him about his mother...ofcourse its not the one that is the worst one...but its a start!!! Then I get a couple applications in OMG talk about the screen lighting up like a Christmas tree for Criminal WOW!!!!!!!!! Turned them down FAST!!!!!! The one girlfriend said well that was like TWO YEARS AGO...yeah so what...if you would have told me he had a bad back ground I could have saved you time and money and me too...she was really snooty about it soon as she found out her big daddy boyfriend was turned down here!!! She was 19 and he was 34!!! WTH???? She wanted her money back...umm sorry honey...no way. Your sugar daddy is a bad boy and we do not take that kind here. There other applicant was just as bad!!!! OMG!!! She is wanted by police for fraud and many other things I guess...nope sorry honey!!! Not here!!! No room at this complex!!! Had emergency also here with a tenant...her aid came running over said she could see her through the window and looked like she might not be breathing...we called her phone first...she DID answer!!! Thank GOD!!! We told her we were on the way over as she sounded VERY weak!!!! So I grabbed the keys and we went over there...she said they changed her medication and she was feeling so dizzy and weak...we agreed to call the squad and have her checked out!!! They took her to hospital...haven't heard back yet how she is doing. Had another tenant skip out on us. He still has the keys. GRRRRRRRR!!!!!! I have tried calling him several times and he will not answer my calls or return them. His apartment IS empty except for an entertainment center and a box. Then to top it off I had a visit from a Deputy looking for someone that CLAIMED to live here!!! No she doesn't live here never did but her mother did and her grandma does. She is wanted for fraud with SS!!!!! OMG!!!!!! He gave me his card and said if I see her here again CALL him!!!!!! OH YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Because of HER I lost her mother as a tenant!!! But then...mom lied to METRO also...wonder if they are looking for her yet?? LOL Never a dull moment here is there??
AND......found out WHY Rick's daughter has been "talking" to him...she wants MONEY from him. That came out last night!!! I told Rick if she needs money she needs to after her first born's father for Child Support!!!! Rick is having a **** fit that all this time she has been talking to him and being so nice then turns out she wants money!!!!!! He is mad as hell!!!!!! I told him I knew it all along...and his mommy is right behind her too!!!!!! She was calling Rick last night to "HELP" get some for her!!! OMG I COULD SCREAM BLOODY MURDER I AM SO PISSED!!!!!!!!!!!! His mother doesn't need to even TRY to call me!!!!!!!!! I do know Rick told her off last night because I was here when he did!!!
I am with you Connie!!! WALING DEAD TONIGHT!!!! I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!! Just started getting into Fear The Walking Dead and the show ends....oh well.
Rick made Country Ribs on the grill today...yummmmmmm one of the tenants made a comment that someone was burning something...I said Rick has the grill going...she said oh...well its giving me a headache...then I came back with well its no different than your son coming over and letting his diesel truck run forever and it all comes into our place...that shut her up. How do you like me now??? (no comments on FB with this please...she is on my friends list there and can see it)
Trying to make my Ohio State afghan and I am not happy with the gray color I had to get because they were out of the lighter color of gray that I wanted. Had to get a darker gray and just not that happy with it. Maybe Rick's aunt can buy this one...she mentioned she would buy one for somebody that she knows if I would make it.
Well sorry I wrote a book today...been reading everyday but just not into posting. Sorry.
Thoughts and Prayers for ALL that need them!!!!

I am dragging up the rear end for sure. Well, we have finally cleared our freezer of all the beef and chicken and as of today, we are eating only fish and vegetables...when I say fish, I also include shrimp and crab and lobster. My DH's cholesterol level is through the roof and even though he is on crestor, he is still having high levels. So, we are going fishatarian or vegetarian with fish and seafood only. The only problem with moving away from meat is that I really have to plan our menus in advance. With pork, beef, or chicken, it's easy to come home and throw something together but vegetarian with fish is a little more complicated. If we eat fish for lunch, then for dinner, we eat some kind of bean. Okay, that's easy but in order to keep it interesting, I really have to get creative with the vegetables. Today, we had thick bean soup for lunch and for dinner, I made flounder covered in mushrooms and celery. I also made carrots and potatoes, roughly mashed, and then I sautéed some onions, peppers, and zucchini. It was all very good but like I said, all of that requires planning. Now, we will eat the left over flounder for lunch tomorrow and that thick bean soup, I will cook down and make refried beans for tacos and we'll have some shrimp to go with it. Hopefully, I'll get the hang of this soon and won't have to plan as much.
Tuesday night, I am making a roasted vegetable casserole and no meat or beans...we'll see how that goes. LOL...DH is a meat and potatoes kind of guy but a meal with what he calls foo foo vegetables is going to be difficult...if he can survive a night with an all vegetable casserole, he has this licked.
Other than the change of diet for us, all is well. He has already started seeing out of his left eye and has cut the pain meds down to two a day. We go back to the eye surgeon on Thursday to get the stitches out and we will get a better idea of how things are going.
Judy, girl, I don't know how you put up with all the crap from his family...my husband's daughter will go months with nothing and then when she needs money, she calls and does what your husband's daughter is doing. We are lucky that her kids live with their father so we don't feel so bad turning her down...she is a bad on drugs so we don't give her a dime. We do help the other kids of his and mine but only when we are convinced they are making an effort to be responsible.
Carla, when my pouch perforated with ulcers and they had to do a revision, it took me weeks to recover and for months I had a tube in my belly that I used for tube feedings. But, my revision was done because of severe ulcerative colitis and ulcers in my stomach...I hope your's goes well.
Connie, I could never watch the walking dead but I sure do binge watch the American Horror shows. In fact, I just finished watching the last of season four.
Ladies, I hope your evening is good and your Monday is magnificent.
Hello Jeannie....I only have a few minutes because I want to see the last one of last season. I want to make sure I didn't miss anything!!
If you can watch American Horror Story....you can handle The Walking Dead. It is crazy exciting!! The story line is awesome!!!
Good luck with your new diet. I could live with it but I sure would miss chicken and turkey. I love veggies!!!! Have you ever tried tofu??
I have had it in Chinese dishes and I loved it!! I am waiting to get to a Trader Joe's to get some. I will pay more for it if it is a better quality.
Got to go now...have a good night...we can chat more tomorrow!!!
Love you much....HUGS....connie d
Good evening Trish and OFF-
Trish sorry you're struggling with sinus infection again. Hope it's not the Munchkins aren't the source for these infections.
Kathy you're going to do great tomorrow. I hope your surgeon has you on multivitamins if not get some chewable a and some chewable calcium! B12 might help with the fatigue too. Just remember walking and sipping.
Judy- you really need to write a book or a script for a TV show! I'd be pulling my hair out!
jeannie- I've got a recipe for a nice high protein salad made with edamame and black beans. I'll post it when I get to Texas.
Well I made it to Atlanta today. Drove through SC and could definitely see signs of flooding they had last weekend! I had planned to stay at a red roof inn but when I pulled in I got nervous. All sorts of people loitering by the entrance to the lobby. Did not feel safe so I cancelled the reservation and went further west until I found a La Quinta. Now I'm going to do some yoga stretches and relax.
Hugs and thoughts going out to all of you!

Hello sistas!
Well I was going to post, but I realize now that none of you are here! LOL! Y'all are all watching that Walking Dead show. WTH is it about anyway? Zombies, right? I'll just have to take your collective word for it.
I had a long weekend with lots of different types of events, but I'll wait and post about it all later. Won't be tomorrow, though. Tomorrow is that blasted school holiday, and I'll have both the boys here all day.
Kathy, honey, you're going to do just fine! I'll be praying for you. It will be a wonderful thing to have the surgery behind you! You'll be joining us on the loser's bench, and we'll be cheering you on the whole way!
Love you all! Talk later!
Hey Vickie,

Forgot to post a pic of the quilt top I pieced today. This one is for Pita. I have to put it away for a couple of weeks now. The rest of my month is pretty much booked solid. But I wanted to get this much done before I had to put away my sewing stuff. I'm excited to fini****!
Next quilt will be for Budder!
