Good Morning OFF,

I'm back from my day of being AWOL.

Be right back.

I'm back.

I was sick yesterday. Went to Urgent Care, and got an antibiotic. Then slept off and on the rest of the day. I was wiped out. Sinus infection. I go back to the ENT at University of Michigan on Wednesday. Hopefully the CT scan they do will explain something.

Today I have church. Then, Utley and I have the Bark for Life for the American Cancer Society. I won't stay the whole time, because Izzy has a soccer game this afternoon, before it's scheduled to end. Then, Lincoln has a football game.

I have a busy week ahead. Tomorrow, is the only day without appointments.

I'll catch up on yesterday's posts later. I have to get in the shower. I can't wait to hear my new pastor's first sermon.

Hugs and Prayers,

Trish

Good morning Trish, Carla and everyone....

Trish...sorry you are so sick again. Do you think there is something in your house causing all these infections? You should have it checked out for molds and things. Sometimes you can't even see it. I worry about you!! My allergies are bad because of this time of year. I hate to say it but I always look forward to that first good freeze!!

Don't overdo it at the Bark for Life today. It should be a fun time! Enjoy the soccer with Izzy and the football game with Lincoln. Please then go home and crash!!!

I am sure the new pastor will have a very powerful sermon for everyone today.

Carla.... Praying your procedure can be finished tomorrow. I also pray the results are good.

AS FOR ME.... I will try to get out for a walk. It is so beautiful out there. You know how much I love the sun!

I am going to start going through the old files again. I have a long way to go! Still four file drawers to go through!!

Tonight is the night I don't answer my phone, text or whatever. The Walking Dead starts at 8:00. I am going to watch the last show of last season at 7:00 just to remember what was all going on!!! It is my favorite show!!! Not so much the yucky parts but I love where the story line goes!!!! I never miss it!

Have a great rest of the day everyone!!

Prayers for out delightful OFF Family and their families. Special prayers as requested.

Loads of love and bushels of hugs to all.....connie d

Hi Trish & Carla!

Sorry to hear you are still having sinus problems, Trish! It amazes me though how you manage to plow through despite them. I am such a wimp...worse than a man!

Carla, I wish you luck tomorrow on your procedure. Get it done and behind you so I can continue to travel vicariously through you!

I am in the car again pecking away on my phone. Had promised Jazz her winter shopping clothes trip to do so today...before surgery got scheduled for tomorrow. So her mom is in the store.

I am getting very tired and weak from day 13 of this pre op diet. Reminds me of how I felt last winter at my highest weight...no energy just wanting to sleep. I just wanted to check I with everyone before the day is over and ask for your thoughts and prayers around noon tomorrow. You have been a great source of support and inspiration on my pre op journey so I know I can count on you all post op.

I will post ASAP after the surgery.

My love to each one of you.

Kathy

I didn't do much today--- Had to get Taylor home by 10:00 because she was going ona "Field Trip" to a pumpkin patch. Might have her tomorrow - because Maura forgot it was a holiday. She has to work, but school is closed. Taylor may go to day care - or I might get a call. Did a bit of cleaning, and took a nap....

Tonight -- Walking Dead.......need I say more?

Hi Kathy,

I'm grateful I can plow ahead wit all the health crap that's going on with me. I think that I owe that to my ex. I used to joke that he was the only living heart donor. He had zero empathy when I was sick. He has softened a little, but it was a problem for years. My parents babied me when I would get sick as a child. He hated drama, and I was the biggest drama queen. I learned right away that I'd get no sympathy from him. So, now, I take a little time to rest, but I don't give up my commitments, or my Munchkins.

You'll get a lot more energy after you start losing.

Hugs,

Trish
