Sorry Ron has a migraine, I know how those can be.

I am getting on here late because I had an appointment this morning with the back surgeon. Dr. Grimm was a nice man who went through everything with me and taught his PA something along the way. I liked that. But he said there was nothing surgical he could do to help my back. He said an epidural put in higher might help. So that's what we're going to do. I appreciated the honesty about not doing surgery. Some docs just want to cut even if it's not necessary.

The appointment was at 9 a.m. and it was nearly 10:15 before I saw the PA. Then it was another 15 minutes before the doctor came in with the PA. So by the time I got out of there, it was after 11 and I missed my Y water exercise class. Oh well. I went through a big cup of iced coffee while I was waiting. Played on Facebook and played solitaire.

Gary talked to mom again; she still has the runs from the antibiotics. The nurse was in the room with her when he called. So she's still having problems.

Vickie, I know what you're going through with Christie because I was just like her. I did the same thing to my mom and almost got my car repo'd. I know exactly how my mom felt because she'd get really anxious if I'd call her during the week ... "What's the matter now?" instead of on Sunday. I don't know what to tell you. I realized I couldn't ask her anymore when she went into assisted living; or event before, when her hearing got so bad she couldn't hear what I was telling her. (So I understand the hearing problems with your mom, too.)

Anyway, I should look for work to do. Have a good day.

I'm getting on here late today. Had to be at Colleen's at 8:30 this morning, and played with Frankie for three straight hours. I started getting a bad headache, and took something for it. Then, I had to go to my dentist to get my partial adjusted, because it was hurting when I took it out and put it in. From there, I went to Hobby Lobby, to get clear plastic for the raffle basket I'm donating at the Bark for Life on Sunday.

Yesterday, I totally missed my therapy appointment. I did the strangest thing. If I have an appointment in the late morning, or afternoon, I set my alarm for 45 minutes before the appointment time, because if I'm in a project, I lost track of time. So, I vividly remember checking my calendar for the appointment time, and setting my alarm. Problem is, my appointment was scheduled for 2:00, and I set my alarm for 2:15. Argh! Thankfully, the sweet receptionist called me, and we rescheduled for this afternoon. It was a good session too.

Well, on Tuesday, I spoke with my new pastor because I wanted to make his family dinner this week. They drove up from Dallas, arriving very late Saturday night, with three little children. So, Tuesday, I scheduled making it today. At the time, the only thing on my calendar was the dentist. Then, yesterday, Colleen asked me abou****ching Franklin this morning, and I had already scheduled my make-up therapy session for this afternoon. So, instead of making the lasagne I planned, I made lazy lasagne. I just ziti noodles in a round casserole, layering it just like regular lasagne with the long, flat noodles. I put it all together last night, so all I had to do was heat it up in the oven tonight.

That brings me to tonight. I was supposed to go to Bible study at my church tonight, but that blasted headached has not gone away.

Must scoot. Crocheting awaits.
