Sunday: What's up
Good afternoon Jeannie and OFF-
Landed in Roanoke va for the night. Traffic and weather was not bad today. Usually I81 is lots of tractor trailers but today traffic was light. Thank you Connie for worrying about me, I'm fine. Should be at my Moms by lunchtime but I will study the nc dot website for road issues. The bigger challenge may be getting to Texas as SC is getting slammed, but we'll see.
Arlene- you may not have anyone to crochet for but you can crochet baby blankets and baby caps for hospitals or project lineus. They are always looking for people to make things.
Vickie- your use of Butch's shirts to make pillows and teddy bears. If your having trouble picking shirts for yourself you can always consider a lap afghan quilted out of several of your favorites.
Jeannie the trick to posting pictures is uploading them to your profile here and then copying them into your message. Good that you have grad students to help. Or I bet the grandkids could figure it out too. LOL
Judy you can come visit me in Texas so Rick can grill for me. Ohio state pulled out a squeaker yesterday. My mom's alma mater Ole Miss lost to the Florida Gators.
So that's all for me today. One more day on the road then a break. One more day of wrestling with Sylvester. Little stinker got under the bed and made me work hard getting him out.
Hugs and thoughts going out to all of you.

Hello Cindi....I am so glad to know you made it safely and today is less traffic and the weather not quite as bad. Your mom will love seeing you!!
Poor Sylvester ...he just can't figure this all out!!
I will be watching for your posts of your travels. I hope you end up having fun somewhere along the way!!!
Love you....hugs....connie d
Good afternoon. Hubby and I just finished dust mopping, vacuuming, and wet mopping the floors. Takes us at least an hour. I just put a load of throw rugs in the laundry. After I chill a little bit, I'm going to clean countertops.
It is beautiful out today. Just a slight breeze but the sun is shining. Days like today are glorious over here at the Oregon Coast. We appreciate them because we don't get a lot of them over the course of a year.
I read all the posts but forgot what I wanted to say as I was going through them -- all but for a couple of comments. Judy, I used to love BBQ'ing. Don't do a lot of that anymore -- but I love the smell. Rick uses a smoker, right? Is it a gas one? I've thought about getting one of those smokers they sell on QVC. They are electric and you can add wood chips in a try at the bottom. Everything they cook in those looks delicious and fork tender.
Connie, I'm sorry you had a rough night but glad that you are feeling better today. You didn't say whether your hands are hurting as bad today as yesterday. I hope they are much better and that you are able to get some relaxation in.
Cindi B., safe travels for you and Sylvester.
Vickie, sorry you have the headache to beat all headaches today. It's so hard to concentrate on anything when your head hurts. Loved the pics of Budder and Benny.
Well, I'm going to get some iced coffee I have in the fridge and relax before I begin the countertops.
Hugs and kisses and prayers for our OFF family.

Hi Gang,
Busy crazy day. Church, then Izzy's soccer game. Grocery shopping, then Lincoln's football game. Then, church again, in case someone needed nursery.
Tired, and don't have a lot to say.
Love and prayers,
Trish
