Thursday Greetings
Good evening Trish and OFF-
long two days cleaning and packing. My legs are throbbing but I should be able to sleep tonight. I'm enjoying one last fire in fireplace tonight as the rain brought cold and wind.
kathy and Mary hope your getting ready for more rain and wind. I guess I'll have to move my travel route further inland.
well so tired tonight that I can't type. Thoughts and hugs to all especially Pita Penelope Poe! The little Princess Poe!

Hey Cindi!
Sorry your legs are throbbing, but must be a relief to have all this behind you. Mentally & physically. I always think when moving the new place is easier to deal with than the one you're leaving!
We'll see what the weather brings. I really hate all the hoopla. In one way it is nice to have fair warning, but aside from evacuating in the worst case scenarios what alternative do we have except to ride it out and hope for minimal problems?
You be safe driving.
Kathy
Late getting on here. Had to give back the keys to the old apartment to my former landlord (no tears here ... so happy! ) then went to the Y for class. Then had to get money to give my brother for rent. Picked up chili and salad at Culver's for lunch and came home, hoping to get a nap after lunch, but my brother had Time Warner Cable over, fixing our DVR problems. So I shut my eyes for a few minutes without getting any sleep. Between that and the lawn mowing, it wasn't quiet. Work has been, though.
We got a steak/chicken dinner for contributing to United Way, plus we got to pick out a gift card. The dinner was really great; my gift card (it was a blind draw) was for Target. In the past, they didn't give much for the night crew; I complained about it last year and we got leftover steak from the noon luncheon. This year, we got fresh food. It pays to complain.
Not much else, just wanted to say hi. I'm really tired after the last couple of days. I finished cleaning up at the old place, unpacked some boxes and it's starting to look like home. Now if only Gary would get his stuff. Poor boy!
Have a good night. Glad to hear about Pita Penny.
