Good evening all,

Sorry i have bee. MIA. It had. Been a hectic two weeks.

Claire had her 50th high school class reunion i took her and we had a blast.  She was so funny saying she felt like she was in a version of The Body Snatchers because she didn't recognize si many of her classmates.

We made a trip to my home town for the funeral of mt BIL's father. he passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack at the age of 68. He was a hard charging man who was a farmer , busuness owner, counselman, school board member. My BIL is his oldest child (3 boys). So he now has to take the lead in the famiy. Two of the grandsons gave the eulogy tellin stories of Gramps that made everyone laugh.

The good thing of the visit was seeing my sisters and my great nehews. They sat with me at the repass dinner. It was so fun to watch them interact and be so close, like my cousins and i were ggrowing up.

Back home for a week of gym, water aerobics, a board meeting, job interview,  laundry, groceries. ..lol

And today is my birthday.  It started with lovely message from my youngest sister wishng me a happy 22nd bd, since she thinks i   look so much younger with the weight loss. Pizza (a real treat fir me) for lunch, salade and brats and left over BD cake (the Board i serve bought me a cake to go with our dinner meeting Wednesday night) for dinner tonight. All in all a great day.

I love BD because we get to see how far we have come and what we accomplished and then look forward to another year.

Well,  i hope to get caught up on all your post tomorrow. You are all in my prayers. You remind me of how important family and friends are to our success.

Blessings and Nameste

Hello Francine...yes...you have been missed!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

The 50th class reunion sounds like it was a lot of fun. I love Claire's remark about the Body Snatchers...very funny!!!

So sorry about the passing of your BIL father. It sounds like he was a really wonderful man. 68 is young these days. He will be missed by many. Prayers for all his family. The two grandson's managed to lighten up a difficult situation with their stories.

Even though it was a sad day I am so glad you spent time with your sisters and great nephews. It can be so much fun to catch up.

I see you are out interviewing for a new job. I hope that went well for you! You have had a variety of things going on since you returned home. Good for you!!

Have a great rest of the day...Love and Hugs...connie d
