Hello Cindi....you have that clock just ticking away!! Not much time left but packing the odds and ends!! I agree, I would want the valance your dad made just for that reason.
I cleaned out my tupperware cabinet a month or so ago. I made sure everything had a lid and a bottom!! Anything else went!! It is so much less stressful looking for containers now!!! I am glad you are doing the same!!
Enjoy your day at The Common Ground Fair!!! It will be a fun time. People watching if nothing else. I am sure the children will look so cute all dressed up as veggies!!

Cindi B., I find that my "Tupperware" stash grows and grows. And, yet, somehow I end up with mismatched lids, etc. I need to look at Costco next Friday when we're in the valley to see what sets of Rubbermaid or whatever they have. One of my favorite plastic containers now has a cracked lid (I dropped it on the floor when the container was full and I think that did the lid damage). Anyway, your post reminds me I need to put that on my to-do list.
How sweet that you have the valance your dad made you and that you're taking it to TX. Those are the special memories that we keep close.

Cindy P- You do know that you can order new lids. I have a woman in my water fitness class who sells Tupperware, I wouldn't be doing my job if I didn't say that. I bought a bunch of Rubbermaid for my RV so when we get all the plasticware together in one place I'll be culling again. I'm living the ziploc stuff here in Maine in case the house doesn't sell this year.
Some of the things I'm moving are kinda silly. The valence I can build a new one myself based on what he taught me. I'm also moving a doll bed he made for my dolls. The most important thing is a corner cabinet he built for me that can hold my TV and/or stereo.

Cindi....oh how sweet...a doll bed and corner shelf too!! I have tears. Keep the valance and these two items...you will always treasure them.
I had the sweetest little doll bed/ cradle and table and chairs.... all made of wood. My dad made them. I treasured those things!! My brother moved in our family home. I told him I still wanted my things. I was living in Iowa at the time. He was an ass like always....he threw them away!!! I was just sick over that. He did it just to be mean. There were other things he threw away too. Nothing as valuable to me as those precious things!!
Now you know why I keep away from my family...they are just not nice!!
Never let go of those memories and treasurers!!

Hello Cindy....Tupperware is a nightmare!!! I can't figure out where the lids go...I know with the socks...other the that...it is a mystery!!
I am now watching very carefully when pieces are put away so everything matches...LOL!!! OH MY...another OCD think!!!!!!
I think later this evening I am going down to the fireplace room and relax and read. Just to get away for a bit!!

Good morning everyone....
I am having fun...LOL!! I had the window cleaners here at about 9:00 AM. Good thing I dressed earlier!! They did the inside and are now putting up scaffolding to do the outside. He did a great job on the inside!! They come here twice a year to do this for us. They do it pretty fast. There are 4 guys and they are good. I am so grateful they do this!! There is no expense to us.
I am really looking forward to a quiet weekend. I love my family coming to visit. They have been here a lot lately. I want a couple days of sleeping in!
I couldn't find my Nook. My daughter has one and it was by her things... so she packed it up!! She will get it to me soon. A good thing I have books too!!
That is about it for my excitement....I know I need to calm it down some...LOL!!
I am feeling good today. A little achy but better. Now if my depression would just leave!! I see my new therapist next Thursday. I am so looking forward to that appointment. I need to discuss some things!
