SUNDAY....west coast edition
Connie where she is at was not her choice...it was the only place that had a bed for her at the time I guess...nobody was happy with that place at all!!!!!!! But what could they do? Her kids wouldn't stay 24/7 with her...couldn't get home care 24/7...so that was that. SMH....
Be safe in those storms!! We had on other side of Mansfield...I could hear the thunder all the way here!!! So far we are good!!!
HUGSSSSSSSSS
I know that when someone needs that kind of care they have to wait until the first place opens up. They aren't always the best ones. At least she is aware and can tell them things. Like no meds and wrong meds. I just want her to be better. She has been miserable long enough!!
I think the storm is now here...WOW!! It was just raining a little before. Now it is raining hard and fast....no hail yet! This is flooding kind of rain!
Love you...hugs.....connie d

Good morning Julia and OFF-
So glad to read that you are feeling better. Take it one day at a time and continue that stamina build up. I'm also curious what movie you're going to see. I haven't paid attention to new releases this summer.
Cindy P you're putting your house together and I'm tearing mine apart with packing. Don't work too hard this weekend, it is Labor Day weekend when we celebrate workers.
Judy maize and blue oh my! I guess we'll forgive you since it is a grandchild. I don't think I've told OFF but my master bathroom in the new Texas house is OSU scarlet and grey. I was going to paint to something other than grey when I saw these gorgeous scarlet bath towels so I settled on keeping the grey and using scarlet towels. My master bedroom has pale blue walls and I'm going to decorate using a red quilt duvet cover that I finished by hand two years ago. So when I posted pictures of the bathroom my Ohio cousin was quick to point out that I was being a good OSU fan. I didn't even see it shame on me.
Welcome Kim for PEI. I remember when I was having thinning hair. I used biotin and folic acid to help with that as well as increasing my protein. I'm probably closest to you as I live in Maine at the moment. I have a "camp" in Maine which is for sale. I have purchased a house in Texas where I have spent the last 10 winters.
Connie hope you're feeling a bit better today despite the storms and crazy weather your area has had.
Eileen hope that back ache is gone now if not call the doctor. Shouldn't hurt that long.
Mary hope you found Jim's birth certificate. Keeping you in my thoughts this weekend.
Kathy I can relate to being worried about finances all the time. I've been retired for 14 years but the last two have been really tight as they stopped paying for my healthcare which really drained my pension check each month. I finally got to where I can draw from my 401K and that has given me some relief. You and Jim are doing right by Jazz and I think that's wonderful.
Judy hope you hear some good news about your sister when you talk to your Mom.
Vickie hope you are recovering from taking care of the boys yesterday. My friend down the road was exhausted when her granddaughters left the other day. She went right to bed to catch up.
Well ladies, that's all from Maine. I'm off to mow the lawn today before it gets too hot. Thoughts and hugs to all who I forgot!
Cindi B
Hello Cindi....yes....the weather has been crazy. We seem to get more storms during the evenings. We will be getting something as I can feel it. The sky is so cloudy and looks like rain.
You go enjoy your day....don't need to rush to get things done!!
How is the packing coming....you can't have much left. I don't envy you that job!!
Lots of love and hugs to you....connie d
Cindi: I forgot that you had been wintering in TX. So, is your new TX house in the same area that you had been wintering in?
We got the floors done and the furniture in the LR moved back today and then we called it quits for the day. Tomorrow is another day!!
I hope you can take a break from packing and enjoy the long weekend. Maybe take a dip in the lake or sit on the dock with a glass of wine and enjoy the sunset.
Cindy P.
