Porch pics

Hi sistas!

Here are some pics of the porch cushions I've made.  Pretty good deal for a thrift store find on the frames (less than $150 for both the couch frame and the arm chair frame!), and some cushions and fabric.  My sofa cushions are still a bit "off"--they are not as taut as I would like--but they'll be okay.  My arm chair and rocker cushions turned out much better.  I actually have fabric to make a couple more throw pillows, but I'll wait on those for now.  I have other projects to get to!

Vickie:  Your porch is looking comfy and beautiful.  Now, after seeing these pics, I will better be able to picture you out there enjoying a hot cup of tea or coffee in the morning and a cool glass of something (ha!) in the afternoon.  Great job!

Absolutely beautiful, Vicki. Haven't been on here lately, sinus issues. Wish all here well.

Beautiful work! Porch looks very homey!

Maybe when we come to Houston for my stepdaughter's wedding we can bunk on the sofa...lol! I should be a lot smaller by then!

Everything looks so inviting... All you need now is a hammock!

OH Vicki, I just love your porch. The cushions came out beautifully. Haven't been on much, sinuses are bothering me.  Hope all is well with everyone here.

Very nice ... I love the colors and especially the rocking chairs. I would have just bought something. You are quite talented!

Eileen, you know that old saying: champagne tastes on a beer budget!  That's me!  As usual, I can afford the designer fabric, but not the expense of having someone else make it for me.  So I had to learn to sew (and paint, and hang wall paper, and . . . ).  I did go shopping at the outdoor furniture places first, but decided their prices were just too outrageous.  So, 5 months later, I finally have my furniture.  It's a process.  LOL!
